The New York Times repeatedly branded Sweden a ‘pariah state’, while its no-lockdown policy apparently made it ‘the world’s cautionary tale’.
The liberal Guardian used to regularly hail Sweden as a ‘model for global prosperity’ – though one which ‘right-wingers’ were ‘desperate’ to see fail. But during the pandemic, the same paper denounced Sweden as a ‘model for the right’ and branded its Covid policy a ‘deadly folly’.
Public support in Sweden for the less restrictive policy revealed ‘the dark side of nationalism’, which could pose a danger to ‘vulnerable minorities’, according to the Washington Post.www.spiked-online.com/2020/09/21/sweden-has-exposed-the-cruel-folly-of-lockdown/Coronavirus: Van Morrison lockdown protest songs 'dangerous'
Van Morrison song alludes to debunked conspiracy theory
By Olga Robinson, BBC Monitoring disinformation teamwww.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-northern-ireland-54194408I think you can see where this is going. The lockdown has destroyed our freedoms, decimated the economy and done extraordinary damage to the public’s health. It represents the single greatest policy failure of the millennium so far. And today the government wheeled out its scientists – equipped with the Covid version of the dodgy dossier – to prepare the ground to do it all over again. The first question that springs to mind is: where is the opposition to this madness going to come from?www.spiked-online.com/2020/09/21/why-wont-the-opposition-oppose-this-covid-authoritarianism/Sobering fact. UK population ~65,000,000 Total deaths from covid ~41,780 (Office for National Statistics) So, even accepting the dodgy figures being put out, only 0.06% (mainly the weak and sick) of the population has died. Or 99.94% haven't died. And they are determined to finish the economy off.

Sweden is a lot cleaner and much less crowded than the UK is, I worked in Sweden on a major project equipment and materials shipped to Iran if you google Chador Malu that was the project I managed, they take iron ore full of phosphorous which does not make good steel and the project removes the phosphorous by several different means, they can make good armour plate for their tanks and self-propelled guns now ! The Swedes are not stupid, if they reckon they have a way to deal with covid 19 then they probably have. We shall see.

The Swedes are not stupid, if they reckon they have a way to deal with covid 19 then they probably have. We shall see. At the beginning of the year our strategy was the same as that of Sweden - her immunity. But Boris caved - faster than the eye could see. We now have, like it or not, a police state led by so-called experts. Laws are being made by decree, Parliament is all for it, so they are keeping quiet in stark contrast to last year's demands for a say on Brexit. POLICE will be able to call on the army if they need support to enforce strict new coronavirus rules, Boris Johnson has announced.
The Prime Minister made the surprise announcement in the Commons on Tuesday as he unveiled a raft of new restrictions in a bid to tackle rising positive covid cases.
He told MPs: "We will provide the police and local authorities with the extra funding they need – a greater police presence on our streets and the option to draw military support www.thenational.scot/news/18738972.boris-johnson-ready-deploy-troops-help-police-uphold-coronavirus-rules/I hear there will be an anti-lockdown demonstration on Saturday....
