cold damp grey and miserable... we may get some sun later as we did yesterday.... today is the big reveal as I will attempt to get down the stairs... yayeeeeeeeee proberbly make it half way... but that better than nothing just looked out of the window and its snowing... very gently with big flakes... don't think it will be much...… and the latest on the virus... its now hit a small town some 6-7 miles away from here.... seems to be gathering up speed...

Friday again.... comes round so fast....daughter asked m what I fany o eat for dinner this evening.. and I suddenly thought back to some thing I used to like years ago... Mashed potato[butter and cream] with 4 or more grilled rashers of streaky bacon....white cabbage buttered and peppered and topped off by a couple of soft poached eggs....

I'm glad you'll be having what you like, mouse. Bacon and eggs I could handle for breakfast, but couldn't manage mashed potatoes and cabbage added to the mix.

Stay in, mouse and make sure the ones in your household who come and go cover their lower faces. Don't bother with eat-out food but have yours home made by people with very clean hands. Stay well. I'll be checking on you so let us iknow how you're doing, daily (at least).

Late night report: It's cold but no snow. Forecast says warming up into the high 50s over the weekend. Hoorah! We had a little snow this morning, early, but it didn't stick. I doubt we'll have much at this late date. March in 2 days!

It's spitting a little rain, sleet and snow tonight. This must have skipped the forecasters because they were just giving cloudy sikies,. I hope it does not do this all weekend. BTW, this is a leap year weekend.

did an answer to you Anna.. but seem to have lost it.. will try to recouver it later its an erughghgh morning dark grey and horrid.. and that damp cold that gets into old bones... still the good news is... its all warm and cosy and I don't have to go out side into it....
turned into a beautiful sunny day.. hope it helps all those still flooded to dry out a little its really glorious.. I have the window open and relishing the fresh air

It's bitter cold in New England, In Laws have gone to Venice in Florida for the winter, lucky them. Sad news about Michael Medwin dying, I remember him in a lot of films, mostly black and white ones.
