and we have a white world although not as bitter as it was looks as though there is more to come.. poor little Jakie wont get here to day.. as the roads are all looking rather dangerous. with cars who have tried to get through ending up sliding down side ways...perhaps they can sort them selves out later...so a bit cluster of cars here and there .. trouble is these cars then prevent snow ploughs and gritters doing their jobs

We have had rain all day and more rain forecast for tomorrow.
Just another example of why it may not be a good idea for us to have a house dog we need to walk at least twice a day. Picking up and disposing of the litter is also compulsory. A cat could have a litter box in the utility room and be much less trouble.

glorious morning.. blue skies... the calm before the storm according to the weather reportsas we are to have in no particular order.. rain and more rain,, snow.. thunder etc...how lovely am sure no one is looking forward too the next three days 30 millions spend on flood precaustions.. and guess what.. they dnt work......if common sense ever hits the UK am sure many will expire in shock go back to basics.. dredge the rivers[all of the ] re dig the dikes...its not rocket science.. and stop building on flood plans...

Not rocket science but sounds like a lot of expense nobody wants to take responsibility for. We have blue sikies, puffy cloudy and cold temps. brrrrrrrr Possibilityof snow for Valentines Day. Too bad. It might discourage the faithful from having the traditional White Castle meal with their sweeties.

Even though we have blue sky and sun, it is cold with more of the same forecast for the weekend! We are preparing a holiday meal for ourselves , daughter and grandchildren. Then, a weekend of reading and snacking on leftovers.
Happy Valentines Day to everyone.

Blue skies but bitter cold here in Narragansett, Spain looks much more tempting at 70 farenheit. I picked up a 9mm for $199-00, will have to see how accurate it is.

Blue sky, sun and very cold. Next week forecast is more of the same - sun but fairly cold, in the 30s and 40s F.
My computer is acting up today. Need to work on it and get it up to spec.

With Valentine's Day on Friday and President's Day on Monday, this is an extra long 4 day weekend.
It has been a very nice stay at home for us with friends and family dropping by.
Family wise, everyone is well and looking forward to March and spring.

Mild and cloudy with a forecast of warmer temps tomorrow.
Just realized Daylight savings time returns the second weekend in March which is almost upon us!
Looking forward to that!

horrible rained and sleeted all night..and its cold too... so many parts of the country devastated by flooding, absolutely dreadful for them..... I gather the tractors/digger have been out earlier this morning moving rubble washed on to the road... that's their good deed for the community
