Question Time is a weekly political panel show with representatives of the main parties and journalists, academics etc. The panel answers questions from the audience.
Laurence Fox hit the news this week with his rather common sense views on sexism and racism, even telling an 'ethnic studies' academic in the audience that she was being racist when she called him a white privileged male.
Enter Lily Allen:
LILY Allen has launched a bizarre attack on "luvvie" Lawrence Fox after his Question Time racism row. The singer said the actor "shouldn't rant about things you don't anything about" in a bizarre Instagram post.
She also moaned about being "sick to death" of "luvvies" like Fox who are "forcing their opinions on everybody else".
It came after Fox's appearance on BBC’s Question Time where he criticised those who said the Duchess had been subjected to racism and instead claimed it was “racist” to be called a “white, privileged male”.
Rachel Boyle, an academic at Edge Hill University on Merseyside, was in the program’s audience and addressed the British actor, saying: "It's racism, she is a black woman, and she has been torn to pieces."
Mr Fox shut the claim down, saying: "It's not racism. We're the most tolerant lovely country in Europe.” "It's so easy to throw the card of racism at everybody... and it's really starting to get boring now."
Their exchange quickly became heated, and Ms Boyle asserted: "What worries me about your comment is you are a white privileged male."
Rolling his eyes, Mr Fox sternly hit back: "I can't help what I am, I was born like this, it's an immutable characteristic.”
"So to call me a white privileged male is to be racist. You're being racist."
Lily Allen, who wasted no time in sharing her thoughts on Mr Fox with her 1.2 million Instagram followers.
She wrote: "Sick to death of luvvies like a Lawrence [sic] Fox going on TV and forcing their opinions on everybody else, when he'll never have to deal with what normal people have to deal with in his gated community.
She went on: "BBC should be ashamed, this is not what we pay our TV liscence [sic] for."
"Stick to acting mate. Instead of ranting about things you don't know anything about."

Does Lily Allen stick to singing instead of ranting about things she doesn't know anything about.?
Er, no, she doesn't.
Asked about Honey G, [Lily] Allen said: “As far as I can tell she is a white lady that dresses up in Ali G, Goldie Lookin Chain kind of attire. “She has done really well on X Factor and ITV is pouring money into her. I’m not black but I find it offensive. So wrong on so many levels, I can’t even start to talk about it.”

Musicians Brian Eno and Paloma Faith, comedian Frankie Boyle, Liberal Democrat leader Tim Farron, and former Labour leader Ed Miliband, Lily Allen are among 90 others who have signed an impassioned letter warning Trump's presidency 'is dangerous and divisive', adding, 'it is our duty as [non US] citizens to speak out'.

Over the weekend the outspoken singer, who a couple years ago came under fire after apologising to Calais migrants on Britain's behalf and vowing to take in a displaced child, was asked how many refugees she's housed since.
Her reply: "None. To be honest I don't think social services would let me take in any refugees with my reputation. If I had a really big house I would but all my bedrooms are occupied with children."

Lily Allen appears to have deleted her Twitter account after linking Boris Johnson’s election victory with racism.
In response to the election result, the vocal Labour supporter retweeted a post which said people who voted Tory voted for “less brown people”.
The post also said those who backed the Conservative Party had voted for "kids to die with no healthcare".
On Instagram yesterday morning, Allen also posted an image of a sad face emoji and wrote: “Some say it was Brexit, some day it was Jeremy, personally, and I know no one wants to hear it, I think that racism and misogyny runs so so deep in this country and that Boris won because of his attitude towards those things and not in spite of them.”
