It's 8:40 am and already warm going on hot.
We're off to Indianapolis to spend the night at a nice motel with a big pool, eat at a good restaurant and see a show tonight.
Enjoy your weekend.

Autumn begins in the Northern Hemisphere on Monday, Sept. 23. That’s the day of the Autumnal Equinox, one of two days when the sun is located just above the Earth’s equator and day and night are roughly equal. In actuality, day and night won't be perfectly divided into two 12-hour segments, with the period of sunlight stretching slightly longer. it's hard to believe the lusty month of May is backtherein the past and we are moving into fall, already!

Nice post to pay tribute to this last day of summer, Annie.
It's summer green leaves and blue, blue skies here, with a forecast of temps in the high 80sF this afternoon. Must be a kind of tribute to summer '19 by mother nature. We've had weeks of these days ... can't last much longer.
Mouse, I'm sorry you're already into fall weather but if I'm not mistaken you get the warm days earlier than we do in the spring,so it all evens out.

Beautiful day. Too nice to be indoors. I'm not sure about that! It's overly warm for these parts. We got in from our small weekend trek and had to turn the AC a couple of degrees cooler. I think there were some shootings in Indisnapolis, but no where near where we were. Surprising since that's a nice city for the most part. We went to the museum but spent most of the time swimming and sleeping. A last summer break for 2019.

sunny morning but also cloudy... jakey arrived earlier.. just for the day...and later we are off to see a poorly friend.... Enjoy your day, mouse. It's about 10 degrees F cooler today than yesterday. After a sprinkle of rain, we still have the blue-blue skies with a few puffs of white clouds. The best is, we can now open a few windows and let the fresh air in.

It is, thankfully, cooler here today. The high temps are supposed to be very moderate for the next 2 weeks, meaning fall will be turning us golden with blue skies, soon. My favorite time of year. We have picked and used the summer berries and now it is time for apples.

Lovely weather here in Rhode Island and it will last all week at least. I found a good deal on ammunition, 500 rounds 7.62 ball for under $200 so that will keep me going for a while. Our Daughter was going to throw a nearly new Dell laptop awy due to a minor defect so I said give it to me which she did, together with last model i-phone. The Dell was an easy repair and I will have a go at the i-phone some day.

Great time of year, just starting. N. America at our best. A cousin is studying at U of Missouri. This is a quick shot on their campus.
