Okay, I'm confused. Do you want the eu to do badly? I thought you just wanted to separate from them. I'd think you'd still want them to be your allies.

I'd think you'd still want them to be your allies. the eu is doing very badly without any help from me.. and yes I want it to come crashing down....I feel sorry for the all people who are tied to this excersise of status grubbing big brother by Franco/Germanic left empire building in which individuals play no part the eu is a house divided amongst its self.....and yes I and millions of others want out of the eu….as for being our allies neither the French or Germans or Spanish have been our allies Portugal is our oldest allie and then along with such as the Danes and Norway the eu is not interested in the UK at all.... its concerns are only financial and stopping the UK from leaving the eu as a lesson to others who might have the same ideas....,.those in charge of the eu have made that very very clear....and that's why so many of us voted in anti eu representatives in the recent election.... a united Europe trading together etc is very different than the undemorcratic eu

Okay, I'm confused. Do you want the eu to do badly? I thought you just wanted to separate from them. I'd think you'd still want them to be your allies. If you get your news from the MSM I can see why you are confused. They are, too. The EU is on the cusp of becoming a totalitarian nightmare. I haven't got 94 days to explain it all to you, but we sometimes call it the EUSSR - the Politburo*, sorry the Commission* is wholly unelected. Europarl is a mere rubber stamp giving the illusion of democracy. PolitburoA [Party] Central Committee elected the Politburo and General Secretary in a process termed democratic centralism. During the 20th century, nations that had a politburo included the USSR, East Germany, Afghanistan, Czechoslovakia, China, North Korea, Laos, Vietnam, Cuba etc. EU CommissionIn short, member state governments - akin to your state governors - select their candidate for a commission post (finance, foreign, interior, agriculture etc etc etc). After intense argument over who gets what portfolio, they are rubber stamped by Europarl. They are unelected, in fact often they are washed up or facing scandal at home. And this is their reward - a favour repaid. I suggest you do some reading on it. You seem to be equating the EU with the US. Big mistake. They are very, very different.
