How do you campaign for something you are trying not to be a part of with a totally rubbish deal? You don't. Let's have another crack at passing the deal through the house of snouts... Labour has the fence rooted deep up its ass... (Nothing can be nationalised within the EU or its single market - state aid and competition Directives apply...) Jeremy desperately wants [hard/total] Brexit to put his manifesto into operation, his mainly urban metropolitan membership wants to remain in the EU while his Northern working class Labour voters want to leave. Labour’s deputy leader, Tom Watson, has walked out of a shadow cabinet meeting after demanding to see the text of the party’s draft manifesto for the European parliamentary elections. The shadow cabinet met before Labour’s ruling national executive committee (NEC) gathered to sign off the manifesto for the elections next month. Watson said he had asked whether the shadow cabinet would be shown a draft of the manifesto, but when none materialised, he “politely” walked out.www.theguardian.com/politics/2019/apr/30/watson-stages-polite-walkout-over-labour-eu-election-manifesto-brexitIt's beginning to look like a battle between the Liberal Democrats, Change UK and the Brexit Party. The old major parties have hit the buffers.
