Rolling Stones postpone tour on doctor's orders British rock band The Rolling Stones announced the postponement of an upcoming North American tour. The band will not be embarking on a 17-gig tour, scheduled to start on April 20 in Miami, due to singer Mick Jagger's health problems. "Mick has been advised by doctors that he cannot go on tour at this time, as he needs medical treatment," reads a statement from the band. Jagger, 75, made his own apology to fans on his personal Twitter account. cdn.cnn.com/cnnnext/dam/assets/190330143146-mick-jagger-rolling-stones-super-169.jpg

Ol' Mick's getting up there to be tearing around the stage in his usual way.
I'd like to see him get one more tour at least. He needs it to support his children.

This doesn't sound good.
Let's hope he recovers with at least a few more good years to go.

Mick needs a stent inserted in a vein, it's a relatively straightforward operation and he should recover quickly as it is not a very invasive procedure.

It's extremely invasive. It is but it is also successful in almost all cases. I think it is scheduled for Friday. I understand Jagger and his family are vacationing in Miami and in good spirits.

""You obviously haven't had one. I have. It's extremely invasive.""
I had the full bifta, took the heart out repaired the Mithral Valve by stitching a 32 mm wide rubber ring around the valve, repaired a broken heart string with a length of dacron and later on they stopped and started my heart a couple of times to get a smooth heartbeat. I was luckily living in west Belgium at the time and I went to the second best Heart Hospital in Belgium (Aalst is the best), in Roeselare and they took very good care of me.

Word is Mick is doing fine. -Mick Jagger is recovering and in good health after his heart valve procedure. The Rolling Stones frontman is being monitored for any complications that could occur, such as excess bleeding, sources told Billboard. Jagger underwent a minimally invasive procedure called transcatheter aortic valve replacement. Doctors accessed his heart valve using a catheter that was inserted through his femoral artery, avoiding the need to open Jagger's chest. more www.webmd.com/heart-disease/news/20190405/mick-jagger-recovering-after-heart-surgery
