It probably will. I'm counting on my allergy pill to pull me on through the afternoon. Once evening comes I usually get a 2nd wind.
Sleep sweet.

The corn (on the cob) is soooo good this time of year! I'll have a chance to go to Farmer's Market on Saturday. Going to buy corn enough for 2 meals, tomatoes (beef steak), squash and apples. I'll take the apples and some of the corn to my mom and hope she'll make an extra apple cobbler for me. The prices are higher, chef, but it's worth it for the tomatoes and corn at least. The taste is a lot better. p.s. My daughter starts Kindergarten in 2 weeks. Thhe school gives them Apple I pads! She has a Kihndle so she's ready! I buy Green Giant frozen corn on the cob....less headaches in cooking lol After Jessie said the golden squash was a zucchini I trashed it...wasted $1 but not fond of zucchini.think I overdosed in the 70's when it was the rage. I do that sometimes in the winter but summer fresh corn is about 100 x better. Just shuck off the leaves and silks (easy), then bring water to a boil. Add some butter and a little milk. Put in the corn, cover and cook about 15 minutes. Voila! All you need is a little bit of salt.

We only had fresh ears of corn growing up so I remember how good it tasted.

very overcast and windy too... nothing much on the agenda today
jake[dog] finished off his breakfast with a walnut [daughter making coffee and walnut cake] and accidently dropped one ..luckily it had been de shelled... he then moved on to finding a sock and he is very proudly carrying it around the only trouble is.. whose sock is it and where has it come from ? as neither of us recognise it

Muggy, grey morning, but the sun's out now, promising a hot, bright afternoon.
Off to knock out the weekly grocery store trip.
Later.
(I see you Annie. Have a great week. I'll miss you.)

sunny intervals..but gradually clouding over
daughter for got to close internal doors.. inconsequence she was woken by a paw tapping her earlier this morning telling her it was light and time to get up... he really is such a little pickle ..naughty in that he looks at you while he does something he shouldn't and so pleased with himself head held high as he struts his stuff with the "" sock""of unknown origin we are really going to miss him when he goes back tomorrow

The days are getting shorter, which has been going on for several weeks, but now it seems like it has happened all of a sudden. I dread losing daylight savings time.
