Crazy stuff, when you consider that gays are being thrown off of middle eastern rooves. An event organised by Gays Against Sharia to mark the anniversary of the Orlando shooting has been branded “divisive” and “Islamophobic” by LGBT activists planning a counter-protest. The organisers of the Unite Against Hate march, set to take place in Manchester on Sunday, say they organised the event to “honour the victims of hate”, including the 49 people who lost their lives at Pulse, a gay club in Orlando, Florida, at the hands of an Islamic terrorist on June 12, 2016. Planned speakers include author Shazia Hobbs, a Glaswegian who was forced into an arranged marriage at 18 with a man who beat her, believing it was his right under Sharia law; Mohammed Fiaz, a Christian convert from Islam; and founder and former leader of the English Defence League Tommy Robinson. But LGBT activists have reacted with fury, insisting the event is nothing more than the cynical hijacking of gay rights by the “far right” as a cover for Islamophobia. Two groups, Lesbians and Gays Support the Migrants, and Action for Trans Health, are arranging a counter-protest against the march. “We’re protesting because the far-right want to use Orlando and the recent killings in the UK to demonise all Muslims,” one of the organisers of the counter-protest, Anna, told Pink News. “We are clear that it is genocidal to consider millions of people responsible for the actions of a few violent men. “As queers, we know what it’s like for right-wingers to hate us – so we won’t be divided like this. www.facebook.com/events/1858484667731206/www.breitbart.com/london/2017/06/10/gays-sharia-march-branded-islamophobic-will-picketed-lgbt-activists/So we have some gays who know what Islam might do to them and protest against it, and we have other gays who prefer self-loathing and political correctness to self-preservation. Bonkers.

But I have seen Islamic persecution of Christians and Yazidis

one example...its almost as bad as dragging up Brevik to try and excuse Islamic terrorism the behaviour of some Christians is deplorable whether its beating out the devil or amputating the limbs of albinos the difference is.. that you wont find it excused in the bible and you wont find it excused by either the head of the nglican churches or by the head of the roman churches try to remember that for Islamic terrorists.. it is not a sin to kill the unbelievers.. as a senior member of the Saudis pointed out only this week.. when the Saudis refused to give a mins silence for the victims of London[why any one thought they would,,, or in deed why any one thought they should...... highlights the total lack of understanding about things Islamic and what is expected of muslims... and that is part of the trouble... our so called leaders have no idea about islam ... and yet they are supposed to protect us from some thing they know nothing about....sheeeeeeeeeeesh

Proof positive that getting rid of the puritan fundamentalists was a great idea. But you won't find a similar headline in Europe. This is a uniquely US thing, and let's be honest, they haven't attacked us in Europe for being what we are. One of the London Bridge terror survivors has spoken out about the attack, with her boyfriend describing how the jihadi who cut her throat screamed “This is for Allah!” as he struck. ... Boyfriend Luke, who was also working at the café on the night of the attack, said the jihadis were “strutting around as if they owned the place”, shouting: “This is for our family, this is for Allah! Stop living this life!”www.breitbart.com/london/2017/06/12/london-bridge-terrorists-screamed-this-is-for-allah-stop-living-this-life/Your government can deal with what is, after all, a domestic problem.

I naivly thought the westbro must be some church with many supporters.. until I googled and watched a tv program... and Brevik was and has been very used as an example
and my sheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeesh was aimed at our leaders

It's a matter of extremism and zealotry. Not all Evangelical Christians are radical. Most are not, but many lean that way. The only thing that really separates them from the Islamic radicals in mindset and purpose are the western ideals of decency and humanitarianism. The hatred toward any cultural or social mindset or activity they do not believe adheres to the fundamentals of Christianity is always simmering. If many of them could change the law to allow them to enact corporal punishment on gays they would go ... full speed ahead.

Corinthians 6:9 - 12

Corinthians 6:9 - 12 I don't think it's up to us, Chef. They call themselves "Christians" and use that to attempt to justify all their thoughts and deeds. As far as I know, there are no Christian councils that rule on these things. Anyone can read the Bible, set up a "church" and preach the gospel .. as far as I know. People with similar mind set will flock to them.

Corinthians 6:9 - 12 bit difficult really to say who is and who is not Christian.... if I remember rightly Latimer and others went to the fires simply because other peeps were deciding who is and who is not Christian its the same as deciding who is and who is not muslim... because by todays standards.. mohamed would have been nothing more than a common thug who moved upwards to terrorism[rather like todays representatives of islam.. many of them common criminals moving up into terrorism...... take look at his[mohameds] life.. look at the killings..threats.. intimidations .. the gang/group mentality etc .. I think we have to take -people for what they say they are.. no one caqn see into another persons attitude/relationship with god or religion lets not go down that very dangerous road.. or we could find ourselves in yet another land of unintended consequences

I agree with Beth & Mouse...in hindsight, I should have been more careful in how I word a post.
The parable of the wheat and tares comes to mind this morning, a day late and dollar short proving not to post when I'm tired.
2 Corinthians 13:5 would apply to me this morning and the rest I will leave to God in His good time.
Can you imagine the chaos that would ensue trying to remove the tares under our own devices?
Rather like the Salem witch trials comes to mind.
