This time last year it was a week until Easter and we had been to the park to hunt eggs and visit with the Easter bunny. I'm glad we have a little longer this year for the weather to warm up. I'm off work tomorrow and Monday so we're going to be shopping for little daughter's Easter dress. Maybe go ahead and buy the egg coloring kit and decorations so she and her friends can anticipate. Maybe a coloring book, too.

Going into late morning and we have a thunderstorm coming through. Big thunder boomers, so I'll shut down for the time being and come back later.

It is a beautiful, spring-like afternoon. The sun is bright and it is pulling out of the cold temperatures (60s now). With basketball season ending, I am starting to think of our favorite sport, baseball.

an full of envy Jessie[in a nice way] its been pouring down all evening..but has now cleared of cloud and is a cold clear night with lots of stars out ..can tell its cold by the way they are twinkling yesterday one of our national treasures Dame Vera Lynn reach her 100th birthday..she was a popular singer during the war..did a lot of traveling and visiting the troops..sh was a great favourite..very very popular ..she also did a great deal for the forgotton army as they were called who fought the Japanese in Burma [as it was then]and ever since then she has been trotted out at all national celebrations her birthday was recognised nationally with a massive photo of her on the on the Dover cliffs she sang about so often
we have people known as national treasures ..no officially one decides they they are national treasures..its one of those things which just happens EVOLVES Sir David Attebrough..Dames Judy Dench.&.Maggie Smith..they usually get a gong at some point ..but not necessarily ..being a national treasure is one of those things you cannot buy or have bestowed.....its an unspoken acclaim i suppose for nice people

Weatherwise, we are Springish. Temps in the 60s today and down to mid 40s tonight. Not bad. Mid week hump day tomorrow, and then, the weekend will be in sight again ... already. Nothing to it.
