Hmmm If it doesn't work later, I'll try playing around with the plugin, if that doesn't work I'll go to PBs and see what they can do.

karma isn't working for me; I wanted to exalt somebody but the function didn't respond when I clicked on it.

No, I see it exactly as always. Don't you? p.s. Love the new avatar! no, I did see last evening my karma said null as I have no karma at all but now today there is no function for me to give karma to anyone else. thanks, found the avatar on a yearold facebook page KP is definitely down. Nothing you did, Beth. Something going on from the source. Maybe a bit of code added that didn't get carried over here. Maybe go to Support and ask.

The problem has been reported to PBS for assistance. I'll be going back to see what they can tell me before noon (in the morning) Saturday. Hopefully there will be a quick and easy solution.

dark damp and cold this morning..but as am not going anywhere I can stay on the warm inside looking on the dreary outside being confined I missed two more events yesterday..one a bauble making and Christmas tree decorating afternoon..and a carol service last night ..do hope not to miss any more..one in particular is very good..its a Christmas afternoon tea with extras..a chap plays the piano[all very palm court]...and a singing group of 4men comes in several times to sing Christmassy songs and carol...the tables groan with food goodies.. mulled wines and delicacus such as stuffed chestnuts etc and every one dresses up to the nines for the occasion..its all terribly civilised and very enjoyable...

We're busily working on the karma system and have been told we need to install the upgrade (.3). Here's the issue ... if we DO upgrade, current KP scores will all roll back to 0 and everyone will start again on an equal basis. It's possible that's what we'll HAVE to do because I don't think the coder is any longer supporting .2. We'll have a decision about it later this evening. If you come in to find your KP has evaporated, consider it a good opportunity for all to start on an even footing. Makes everything a bit more challenging. In other news this a.m. EST, I have a PM from Dex that he's tied up until mid afternoon, so the Music quiz WILL be a go today but maybe not for several hours. Hope everyone checks back after while. He says it's going to be American female song birds.

Okay, so do you want us to comment?
I don't mind if everybody starts equally at zero. Since Dex's music quizzes are not scored by KP but on a separate tally system, I'm fine with it.
One thing I DO think is that the "ding" KP symbol should be taken out.
Doesn't help anything and lets people who ought to know better be nasty.
That's my 2 cents worth.

I need to let Sys3 know first thing tomorrow. It could be very refreshing to roll back to 0 KP. We'll see tomorrow, unless I change my mind. I'd like as much feedback as possible.

I hope you'll be able to attend an event or two. Having lived in a small town in the past, I know chances to "dress up to the nines" don't come along every day. I attended a bridal shower this afternoon. It was rather dressy and, with a Christmas theme, quite holiday-ish. The bride had chosen a silver pattern so gifting was easy. I also took an 8 piece fabric place mat set .. something that always comes in handy. Except for a cantata at one of the city churches in a week, I don't have events planned. Just home and family stuff.
