Just turned on the News on TV and they were showing golf. And this fellow took his first shot. It went about a yard past the hole, then rolled back into the hole, what a great shot. They said it was a Birdie which no doubt golf players will understand. It reminds me of my son in law who hit a hole in one. His shot hit the golf pole and fell down into the hole. How lucky can you get?

Hi Ariel,I enjoy watching Golf because it does entail precision, I like the way the paricipants size up everything before they make their shot, the fact that the ball was exactly in line with the hole shows how precise the shot was. I've never seen such a great shot. It is the precision that counts otherwise you would be missing the hole all the time. He was lucky that there was a slight slant. Golfers also have to apply the right amount of pressure to the shot in order to get as close to the hole as possible. Some shots have been exactly in line.but the ball stopped two or three inches short of the hole,a little more pressure and it would have gone staight in. Everything is important in the game of Golf, even the Golf club that is used. It is certainly a game of skill.!!!

the best thing about golf is the 18th hole Hi Mouse, that is certainly the most exciting one. By that time ofcourse you have an idea who is going to win. The whole game from beginning to end interests me because anything can happen. A Golfer might be forging ahead and you think he is sure to win, then for some reason everything seems to go wrong and the player falls behind. That is why I find every hole exciting, because you never know what to expect.

I worked at a golf club in florida and lived in the golfing community...talk about diehard fanatics lol
I put together a set of clubs that had been abandoned at the clubhouse and we played but it was no big deal.
