Well after their defeat in their opening game against Italy, the number one ranked European side Belgium came back with a vengeance. Poor Republic of Ireland were on the end of a 3-0 drubbing. Shame.

Russia 0 - 3 Wales
Wales swept past Russia with a breathtaking display in their final group game at Euro 2016 to reach the knockout stages of a major tournament for only the second time in their history.
Aaron Ramsey's beautiful clipped finish put Wales ahead before Neil Taylor scored his first international goal as Chris Coleman's side seized control with an inspired first-half performance.
There was no let-up in the second half as the irrepressible Gareth Bale struck to become the tournament's leading scorer with three goals.

I don't find it embarresing ...the England team is made up over over paid and over fed young men who simply are not good enough as a team...if they were good enough they wouldn't have lost...and from what ive read the management isn't up to sratch either I am delighted they lost to a team like Iceland..the same way I am glad wales won over the Russians ...the less favoured teams winning shows you don't have to be the big chaps to win....and that is a real sporting contest..the better team on the day winning

its yayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy for Wales....a winning team of men rather than over paid wannabe losers Q) Sam Vokes was the first Englishman to score in an International quarter final since? A) Ashley Williams and Hal Robson-Kanu for Wales earlier in the same match. 9 of their squad were born in England. Agree, lots of passion and well played Wales.

France beat Germany 2-0 so it will be France against Portugal in the final.
