ah bless him...I always had a soft spot for this man...a bit of a disaster in his private life..but what a hunk he was..and he made us smile too Parkinsons was about the worst thing that could happen to a man like him thanks for the memories and RIP I even watched boxing if he was in the ring...never for get the faces when Henry Cooper won his fight with him ..feeling were quite mixed as to who to cheer for Cooper or Ali...

Thanks for putting this up, Soulman. A favorite here as well ... a homeboy from just down the road. I can't remember a time when he wasn't part of the scene, world wide. He was never "typical" ... always had a great sense of himor and never let the celebrity puff him up too much. R.I.P. Mr. Clay

Muhammad Ali was remembered in his hometown of Louisville on Friday with a long procession through the streets where he grew up and learned to box, and then at a memorial service where mourners spoke of a greatness that transcended championships, battles over civil rights and religious freedom and a debilitating illness. The ceremony, at a packed KFC Yum! sports arena on a stage decorated with bouquets of flowers and the American and Olympic flags, was done in Islamic tradition but featured speakers from a variety of faiths, races and backgrounds — a directive from Ali himself so that the final goodbye would reflect his advocacy of tolerance and respect. www.nbcnews.com/news/us-news/greatest-muhammad-ali-remembered-louisville-memorial-service-n589931
