We have a wedding to attend this afternoon so I am in a rush but may be back later. We are planning to leave for at least 2 weeks in Tennessee in a few days. While there, we only use our computers for email. Everything else comes from TV or radio or talking to people. It makes for a very nice change for a short time.

Not sure how I'd like being without computer use for weeks. I did it last summer but was ill and hospitalized, so didn't have a lot of opportunity. Balancing a laptop while hooked up on various IVs and monitors does take away from the enjoyment of information at one's fingertips.

I love the yellow ones and the peach ones. My aunt used to have a bed (thinking 3 or 4 plants) of the Peace roses .. her pride and joy. She was a good landscaper and had a hedged in garden with 4 square rose beds, one center, circular bed with a fountain in the middle and, also, borders of mixed flowers on all sides. I got very spoiled to that as a child and never really got over missing it but, unfortunately, am not talented in that direction. She also had a rock garden planted in wild flowers. Very impressive. Her hobby, I'm sure.

I haven't had a chance to take the wrapper off, much less open it ... but I will over the weekend. She and Phillip are troopers. I'm sure they make you proud.

We had a great day at the park but 5 hours in the 90 degree F sun is enough this time around. Even with sunblock we all got a fair amount of tan.
Home for a nap. Lookin forward to it.

I have to work this Sunday and am on my way. My little one is going to spend the day at her other Grandma's house. Tommy is working on his parents car this afternoon. They'll have a great time. I'll suffer through my shift. At least I'll be in the AC. I'll bet your garden is just about perfect right now, mouse. How long before it starts getting sunburnt?

How long before it starts getting sunburnt? it had just started to suffer slightly when the rains came Anna...so we have avoided sunburn on plants and now have an abundance of lush green...and a few things getting a little battered by the rain which is a shame..just as the roses are coming out too

People are waiting for me so I have to go for a little while. Hate to leave right in the middle of this breaking news. In the meantime, check on NBC or CBS News or your local TV channels.
Later.
