all over grey and decidedly cold rather than chilly so much so its out with the woolies....wind still blowing in from the north east...so its a curl up with book and some chocolate today only three weeks to the longest day and as yet haven't had a warm evening to sit out with drinks .. been ok some days but warm evenings appear to be a thing of the past

I seem to remember last summer was a bit chilly for the English, and all were hoping this one had more warm-hot days. Since the season is just getting started, don't give up. You may be sweltering in a month. It's very warm here (yesterday highs of 88 & 89 degrees F). The power went off yesterday for a couple of hours. No warning, but it usually happens when all the AC's come on full tilt so we weren't surprised. I'll be back to work through June and a little into July. Just means schedule juggling. 2016 hasn't been the best year so far, so I'm hoping summer brings a definite improvement ... for all of us.

What a nice "here comes summer" calendar, Beth. Thank you!
It is bright and warm. My roses are starting to bloom.
A visit to the dentist and a little shopping later today.

woke up this morning feeling itchy...so much so I asked daughter to look and see if perhaps a mossie had been biting and if so to put on some anti itch cream.. seems I am covered in a rash on my back which also appears to be spreading more or less all over so we will have a word with the surgery and see if I need to go in...I cannot imagine what has caused it..as feel very well with nothing untoward and no change in diet etc etc and haven't been mixing with people in general so am unlikely to have caught something but the itching is driving me mad
a grey day quite chilly ...

Sounds like an allergy, mouse. Good luck with that.

Feel better, mouse.
We are having a warm sunny day. I arranged my hours at work this week to be off today and spend the afternoon with my child and her preschool group. Looking forward to a great afternoon.

well I ruled out all the obvious..measles/chicken pox/meningitis and without a lump imder the armpit it wasn't the plague either.. and had thoughts along the lines of allergy...any way suffice am being treated for an unknown allergy plus doses if antihistamine/piriton to take away the itch..which is working well...by tea time yesterday I was really covered in the rash...looked like a pinky red blob....today no itching couldn't sleep last night..so thought I would have the morning in bed to catch up...all to no avail...so fingers crossed and an early night.. beautiful day bright sun and fluffy white clouds and lovely and warm

It was something you ate or something you touched. Think back on what you ate that might have done it so you can X that off your menu.

nope its not scabies or something I ate...and its not shell fish..so really at a bit of a loss...anyway while I am on da pills...I have to stay out of the sun...but the anti itch is working beautifully...and I managed to get some sleep last night not as sunny this morning but warm and pleasant..and shall enjoy the day regardless
