yesterday was a sad day for us...daughter had to take little Em to her final visit to the vets..it was time to let her go....we haven't told grandson as he is working all weekend at AINTREE racecourse..so his mother will tell him on Monday...he will be devastated the weather this morning is wet and horrid... I'm sorry for the loss of little Em, my sister had to put down her beagle Danny two weeks ago so maybe they are playing together over the rainbow bridge.

Mouse, I am so sorry you lost your little dog. I do wish our pets lived longer. They become such an important part of our lives.

going shopping this morning in the hope I can find the things I shopped for last week but couldn't find the day has dawned overcast and dreary and to morrow we are off on a jaunt on a ""Jewish experience""" which involves exactly what apart from a visit to a Synnagogue and lunch I don't know...but am looking forward to it

It has been raining most of the day. The result is a 10 degree F temperature drop. lol No worries, they tell us it will be back in the 60s before the weekend. I hope this is the last of the cold. it is inconvenient to have to mix cold and warm weather clothing in the closets. Tomorrow, I have appointments and plan to wear a spring top and light weight jacket. I suppose I'll keep the top but need a heavier jacket and fleece slacks. Seems strange.

Jessie, I hear you and sympathize.
At least the sun has chased off the rain and clouds this a.m.. Beautiful, but cool, spring day. Except for a few errands, I'm having a free day.

yes we had a good day yesterday...the main event didn't live up to expectation nor the lunch...and it could have been better done in our opinion however the guides were very pleasanrt and did their best...the day needs a polish up.....but it was a good get together and we were glad we went have to say I was totally shattered by the time we got home ..a long day for me who has done very little since January..8-30 till just coming up to 5... don't know what is next on the agenda... the weather was dire all day...we drove through the mist to the motorway and then into dreary drizzl...pretty yuk this morning is sunshine...but I have to wait in for a chap whose coming to check out the kitchen water pipes..i think they may need renewing...behind the sink

It will take time to adjust, mouse. Everyone goes through things like that when there are major life changes. Some people can snap back in a few days but most of us take longer. Has your grandson been told? I hope all of you pull through soon with only the good memories to give Em's life meaning.

yes Jessie grandson was told last Monday...it was explained why we had left it a couple of days to tell him....he wasn't happy but accepted the reasoning as sound
another grey and gloomy day and forcast is snow showers..the tops are already white and temps have dropped considerably with a cold cold wind I have nothing on the list for this weekend...so it will be a curl up with kindle..
