how old id she now Anna chilly morning grey and damp...nothing inviting about it GS2 and em and I are still alone...dividing up jobs between us...its his turn to hoover through tp day and make sure every thing is ship shape for the weekend..and mine to see we have enough vivtuals and wont starve hey ho..a grandmas lots a very happy one... She's 3, mouse. Cute and sweet and curious about everything. She's known her primary colours for a long time and now she's learning all the different shades in her big box of crayola crayons. A couple of weeks ago she learned "aqua". Yesterday, we were in the ice cream shop and they served her favorite scoop of strawberry in a little blue-green bowl. She said, "wait a minute mommy, I've got it!" (big grin) "LAQUA"! She was so pleased with herself I said, "close enough. good job, kiddo". I'm gonna miss this age.

A delightful age Anna...I wish we still had a little one... start her on illiterations as a game..it will pay dividends as far a wide vocabulary ...mine loved it and it helped with reading too and getting words in context and of course they absorb like a sponge..am envious..in a nice way...
we had a lovely day yesterday at the WI fair in Harrogate..and we all returned on the mini bus with piles of goodies..i bought a rather elegant top..for winter parties...and there were freebies too...and had a long chat with two young tibeten who were selling the most viberant silks..scarfs etc ...absolutely beautiful..any way they gave me their card and I shall probably deal with them on line..[.real refugees..not wolves in sheeps clothing] but every things from hand printed silks to cookery demonstrations in 4 different huge spaces..so rather tiring this week is going to be very hectic...reherals for the semi finals on Friday..fingers crossed and meeting on Wednesday and Thursday beautiful morning and its set fair for a few days of really good weather....goody

Labor Day 2015, winding down. This one was a kind of replacement for this year's 4th of July for me because I missed that one completely. This one even had a parade with high school marching bands and Shriners doing wheelies. The real thing everyone has enjoyed for years. Kids dressed in red, white and blue, chasing after candy thrown by politicians in convertibles ... the whole show. Now the insects are starting up their vespers chorus in the hedge rows and moms are dragging out the mosquito repellent for all who want to stay out 'til dark. Back to the usual tomorrow. Have a good'un

we appear to be in a short indian summer...beautifully warm once the sun gets going... opened the back porch door and it was soon covered in condensation where the heat of the house met the cold outside air...brrrrrrrrrrrrrr grandson and I are going to do some cutting back today.. saw a Badger last night..the outside sensor light came on..looked out of the window and there he was..a very large makle brock...on next doors property..luckily he cannot get into mine...he must have come up from the woods
