oh and lest any one should my friends house is full of holes..its in the oldest part of the house built in the 16th century where nothing in quite in line with anything else

Prashna well my skirting boards aint brilliant..but my house is not as old as my friends...and i have serious issues if there are draughts...so block up any would be holes..old houses can be a pain in the neck full of unseen draughts and bits that dont fit

Prashna well my skirting boards aint brilliant..but my house is not as old as my friends...and i have serious issues if there are draughts...so block up any would be holes..old houses can be a pain in the neck full of unseen draughts and bits that dont fit I know what you mean. I have experience of some such dating back 100 years or more. Window frames that don't quite fit any more, little holes in woodwork and even brickwork made over the decades. Can be quite a challenge to make such a home draught-free. Prashna Prashna
