well, went to WalMart today to get three money orders totaling over $300 plus $20 in cash; put my debit card back in wallet and stuck money orders and cash into my purse. I must have dropped my wallet and didn't realize it until I got to pharmacy department so hurried back to customer service and my wallet and the young man I had seen sitting in a chair were both gone. I talked to the service girls and they hadn't seen the wallet so I walked back to pharmacy to make sure it hadn't fallen out there then went back to customer service; they called the store manager to pull the video. She came down and told me to call the police which I did. By now it's been at least fifteen minutes and lo and behold, the young man comes in with my wallet and handed it to the girls; i checked it out and nothing was gone because there wasn't anything to steal........he disappeared. I have the feeling he went outside and checked the wallet and found nothing so brought it back to customer service not expecting me to be sitting there........I think he thought he was going to be able to steal those money orders and cash but i had kept them inside my purse so the trick was on that asshole. There is no other explanation why this person who was dirty and obviously a vagrant took so long bringing the wallet to the customer service......he should have returned it the minute i either dropped it or left it on the counter. I am thankful to have my property back and that he didn't throw it away but now will be more wiser when picking up money orders.....I had noticed him from the start and felt hinky about him.......should have been more careful and listened to the inner voice. Phew, that was a close one, Cheffy.

morning all...lovely day...but I do hope it warms up soon...yesterday although sunny and bright was so cold with an east wind..brrrrrrrrrrrrr....although we have all divested of winter coats..its still sweayers and cardigans to the fore photo of friend road where we piccniced...in the north itys not unusual for the road to be directly in front of cottages..in this instance the cottages were built on the side of the old Roman road...at the bottom of the pic can be seen where the tarmac ends and the original old road continues and in the left bottom can just be seen some thin ridges of stone...Roman...in parts of this road further up the old flagstones can still be seen...strange to think that road has been in existence for some 17hundred if not more years...and we littereally tread in the footsteps of possible ancestors..Roman..Celts..Drovers...monks and shepards the high wall on the left is the retaining wall of her garden which is literally carved out of the moor

Since I like to look for interesting show bizk news to post, I have not had much to do this week. The only things I see of interest today is 1. Tony Bennett has cancelled his concert in London with Lady GaGa because he has a case of the flu. Good luck to you, Tony. Get well soon! The other one is that some of the buzz behind up and coming The Simpsons is that Marge and Homer will be getting a divorce. I think that is a shame after all these years. Sunny and warm here. Really nice day.

Hi Sysop3, more like inside help if you ask me? I heard a little while ago that the search had focused on Washington D. C. so something must have led them that way. That is close enough to me that can stop right there, round them up and take them in. I also heard LE was interviewing some of the personnel at the N.Y. prison. That woman, Tilly Mitchell, has her ass in a sling with confessing to the fact she was going to drive the getaway car but backed out. What kind of dumb fool is this woman? Except for women correctional officers who have to be on hand for female visitors in a male prison, there is no other need for women to be working in men's prison or vice versa. I've come to the conclusion, murderers and other violent inmates do NOT need any contact with people from the outside unless it is family or clergy....I fought that concept years ago but after 8 years of visiting came to that conclusion on my own.....they are only interested in themselves and don't give a shit about you at all except for what they can get.

your pictures and commentary make me want to hop a plane and tour the countryside Until you run into the gypsies and muslims. not in my neck of the woods you don't...Gypsies some times park up further along the road at one particular place...but never stay long...travellers would get very short shrift as for muslims...we leave that to towns and cities

Sad, kind of like real life.
