The numbers for 2009 are now in for PETA- almost a new record. The bastards
euthanized 97.3% of the animals they took in. Only 2006 was worse when they
killed 97.4% of their animals.
In 2009 they took in 2366 animals. They got 8 of them adopted, transferred
31, AND KILLED THE REST!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What a waste of dogs and cats.
Since the last half of 1998, PETA has now killed 23,640 animals.
They found homes for 1 out of every 300 animals they took in.
just one reason- Killing adoptable cats and dogs – and storing the
bodies in a walk-in freezer until they can be cremated – requires far
less money and effort than caring for the pets until they are adopted.
PETA has a $33 million annual budget. But instead of investing in the
lives of the thousands of flesh and blood creatures in its care, the group
spends millions on media campaigns telling Americans that eating meat,
drinking milk, fishing, hunting, wearing leather shoes, and benefiting
from medical research performed on lab rats are all “unethical.”
The bottom line: PETA’s leaders care more about cutting into their advertising
budget than finding homes for the six pets they kill on average, every
single day.

Once again I am left with the same yearly opinion. If Newkirk was burning in a ditch,
I wouldn't put the fire out. I wouldn't help, and after she was dead, I wouldn't
bury her body. She can not only rot in hell, she can rot on earth.
