Chilly and sunny today. Weather forecast tells us we're in a comfortable little lull for the weekend but after that can expect some really cold days. Hope it doesn't last too long.
Waiting for Indian Summer.

Okay so I'm a wee bit bummed, my garlic bread was a complete bust with my spaghettini tonight. I lowered the heat and I kept it in a minimum but it still got burnt badly.
This is a new brand of baked garlic bread that I'm trying out.

Sunny and chilly .. a copy of yesterday.
Uni sports fan friends will be here later to hash out their thoughts on the coming season and eat stew and cornbread. That means take a couple of tylenol and get busy. Haven't even had time to check the news.
Be back in a little while, once RT is running along nicely.
Sugi, when fixing only one or two slices of garlic bread, try putting a pan on top of the stove and heating the burner to medium ... then, put in the bread and keep a close eye on it. Flip it over when one side is done and remember the second side won't take as long. It isn't the way the box tells us to make it but works very well. if several slices, don't forget to preheat the oven first, then keep close check on it. Sounds like your oven thermostat might be going out of whack.

It's chilly enough to wear a jacket and it will be dark in an hour or so. Thanksgiving coming up is the only thing November has going for it. Get ready for Monday. If there's any time worse than November, it's a November Monday.

One of these little things that makes life easier.

If there's any time worse than November, it's a November Monday. But November usually has the nicest fall foliage and it is the height of football season. i hope this cold snap will end soon so we can have a little seasonable weather before it turns winter December 21. I made pecan and custard pies today. They were a big hit with the kids and grandkids. Go well, and have a nice week in spite of the cold.

The pies sound good, Jessie.
This has been a nice day but a very busy day and I'm tired enough for an early bedtime.
Hope everyone had a nice weekend.
love to you all

Glad your shopping went well, mouse. That's always satisfying.
We've got SNOW! ... on the ground, the walkways, the streets (although that's being dealt with) and forecast of another 2 inches to come. Ach! Have to go to work for awhile anyway.
Later.
