Thanks, Beth, and yes, mouse, withdrawing the freebees might well reduce the flow somewhat.
By the time we get back 'on track', as it were, we will have lost at least 24 hours; same for the other 2 ships. That's costs which should not have been incurred. Again, we just do what's required, both as people AND as per SOLAS (safety of life at sea), but it shouldn't be this way...

Me, I blame the d1ck-brained politicians who have allowed this sort of situation to develop...but that's just me... This lot, mind you, appear well nourished & are well dressed, with nice bags with them...and the last thing they were doing, before boarding us, was to throw all ID overboard...

Good morning, Who. That's a summer GM if I've ever seen one. Just the thing. No fall activity around here for at least 3 more weeks.

Actually I tried to delete it..as its a bad photo and the light is terrible...the colours come alive with the sun behind them... he was born in Yorkshire..brought up in Derbyshire..hence the bare tree and the moor and water for both countries...Derbyshire is the millstones and the rocks..the leaves are autumnal colours..because they suit his skin shade the golds and browns the stepping stones symbolic of the steps he has and will make during his life ..the ANC symbol and flag is the Africa connection via his very political father.. and the orange earth is very Africa the star of David is a nod to an understood jewish grandfather some generations back
what happened was daughter came across the glass artist at a country fair...for the other grandson we had a pice of English oak carved as a dragon..but the wood carver came into an inheritence and has never been sober since...any way we got in contact with the glass artist and she invited us down to her studio to get an idea of exactly what she could do...from ultra modern to what ever was desired we told her what we wanted in style content and colour...so she did us several drawings and what they could look like from tryptich to single pieces we commisioned the one we thought was most akin to our ideas...and several months later..well six months later...she delivered the done piece..we were delighted and she had caught exactly the essence of what we wanted and grandson really does like it and the way the colours change and glow in the different lights but that is stained glass ...its never the same two days together and of course should it get broken each piece is separate and can if absolutely needed be replaced

We're off ridiculously early tomorrow morning for 8 days holiday at our caravan on the French Riviera.
Look forward to meeting you all again when we get back!
Probably be too tired on 11th (the day we return) as we won't get back home till about half ten at night but on 12th we'll be back in business!

Wonderful idea. Surely beats a new tie.
