We are in the midst of a T-storm this evening.
It's been very hot today, so I'm knocking on wood this means a little relief.
Hope everyone here has had a good Tuesday.

That cat looks more like it's having a, "Oi, let me go, you brute! When I get out of this lock I'm going to really mess you up," moment more than anything else.

Did anyone catch PMQs today? I imagine it could've been quite interesting post-Juncker...! As usual the summary is most elusive on the BBC* website, even using the search facility. What do they think they need to hide, FFS? It's broadcast live on R5L and BBC Parliament, which repeats it late this evening. And we're forced to pay for such service! * Biased, Brainwashing, Corrupt...

Is it the one about wire tapping and Rebekah? www.bbc.com/news/uk-politics-28016715I just got home from work and need a few to relax and eat food (wired on coffee). As with Men an tol's post ... I'll get back with this later. Sounds interesting.

It did lead me here, though, which looks more like it:- www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-28124068"Interesting" tweet from proven racist and eater of all the pies Diane Abbott there... Okay, the clip I saw had two subjects being batted about ... the NHS, which apparently needs bolstering up with more money and ?more doctors?. Over long waits at A&E seem to be up, to an outrageous degree, and something must be done. Second was the referendum Cameron has promised in regard to staying with the EU. There was a suggestion the general public didn't know all there is to know about that or they might rethink. It was mentioned that the hue and cry is causing problems for the U.K. in regard to some financial deals they had in the works (EU countries). All very interesting. I'll be watching for more information all around.

july and a grey drizzle drizzle day...the forcast said it would be hot and sunny...errrr yeah right.. every one around here is up in arms about the closing of roads on Sunday thanks to the tour de France??[we are in England for a kick off]..the cyclists come no where near here..a good ten miles away...yet road after road has a sign on saying no through road or road closed etc...park and rides have been set up all over the place[bit silly for us as we don't have any transport on sundays anyway] the signs are not the usual police notices but huge great screen things all terribly high tec which they have erected on a carefully maintained grass verge huge areas designated as car parks etc and it would appear our nearest town is expecting some 40,000 people to arrive ..that will be jolly as said town is constantly grid locked at the best of times..and local peeps avoid the place like the plague so from 12 mid night Saturday we will be relatively cut off... we could end up being the place that time forgot

PMQs is always about the NHS these days, since Ed realised constantly trotting out "cost of living crisis" whilst sat next to the fat oaf that helped cause it was boring people. Basically it's half an hour of grown adults bickering like kids in a playground whilst lying through their teeth to each other (and the country).
