I misunderstood the pic of the bear as suggesting it was wild, wilderness. Sorry, Temp. Then, I threw KY in for the helluvit, as the 2 states are often lumped together. Sorry, Temp. Very nice cabin, btw. I'll bet you had a great 3 days. Yep - beers in the hot tub! The bear was wild and it was reasonably wilderness-like. Certainly a far cry from the concrete jungle and never-ending urban sprawl of the greater Chicago area, of which I am also familiar. In any case, you have to do a Harpic and squirm a bit more because I've made it more than clear over time that I like my wide open natural spaces with plenty of trees (although I draw the line at all the bloody snakes! You can keep them!). Most recent reference made with photo of me all cosy in the proper gear whilst chums not in photo wished they'd listened to the pedantic fat git apparently not stating the bleeding obvious after all. No, snakes are bad news and often a concern during the warm months. Hope you get another chance to spend time at some of the nice places ... the mountains or the shore. Both great get-aways. have you read Bill Bryson's book about the Appalachian trail? A real treat.

I struggle to get any further up the literary ladder than Andy McNab these days. Plenty of stuff going bang and whiz or I fall asleep. Must be getting old!

i think that prom is a lot bigger deal for girls that it is for guys. plus, senior prom sort of signals the beginning of the end of high school What? Proms are big for guys! The guys here have cooler outfits than the women. i don't know. i think for most guys, it's just another dance, but a hell of a lot more expensive that white suit is pretty cool, but, the beer after the prom would end up staining it. that second one looks like what MY dad used to wear

Yes and we're having a very late Easter this year. April 20, I think. Her prom is the 1st or 2nd weekend in May, though and that's the biggy as this is her senior year. After that, graduation. Good to see you. You always bring fresh air from Tennessee ... one of my favorite states. I took this in Tennessee... View AttachmentAnd this... View AttachmentAnd this is just to back up my earlier assertion about having been there and literally bought the t-shirt. You'll just have to imagine the big hole in the floor... View Attachmentthe corvette museum is in bowling green, which is in kentucky though

A real treat. nothing ever happens in burns, but, last week it got onto the map. a clown robbed the bank half a mile up the road from me. i wondered where all the cops were going. there are quite a few sirens, but, it's usually an ambulance.

The piccie was from the same holiday as the previous two, however, and referenced an earlier post on the thread about the sink hole opening up under the museum. I'm on night shift. Matthewbear is asleep after a fresh diaper change and one more extra ounce of formula. He is so precious and he is a sweet snugglebug! One of the grandparents will come in a few hours to take over so I can sleep. Mr. Beez will be doing night shift on the weekend since he doesn't work then. Matthew did stir a little. He will be a month old on Friday. Holy cow! Time has gone by so fast!

Once you have a child, each stage of his development will pass much too quickly. Even the pesky late night feedings will be over before you know it. My nephew, who has sometimes seemed like my own, is 8 now, and occasionally, I'm sad he's no longer that little 3 year old - 4 year old - 5 year old who was so happy to snuggle up in the recliner with me and to be read to. Enjoy everything ... truly, you don't want to miss a thing. ((beez))

grey and damp..rained overnight but yesterday afternoon was quite pleasant and managed to get into the garden for an hour or so.. the forcast of warm is only for the south ..here in the north its possible wintery showers.. the pictures in the item are beautiful...with the Buxton and Ashbourne both views I know very well....the Buxton one is actually not really near Buxton which is over to the left where the sun is rising and much nearer to the Derwent valley where the bouncing bombs were tested From ice to ice creams! Frost to melt away as 18C front makes us warmer than Greece Parts of the country could bask in spring sunshine this weekend because of a wave of high pressure Will be hotter than the south of France and areas of the Greek Islands as a period of settled weather begins Sunday is likely to be the hottest day of the year so far, a relief to those who have dealt with floods' aftermath This stunning frosty dawn may be nature’s final curtain to the dismal winter endured across the country. But the beautiful red skies that greeted early birds in Wiltshire yesterday also heralded weather to put a spring in your step – with temperatures set to soar to 18C (64F) in the next few days. For the first time this year it will be ice cream weather, as parts of Britain will be warmer than Greece.A high pressure system dragging in winds from the southwest means the mercury may climb to double the average March temperature of 9C (48F). ..
