We don't have the white pages here in the UK. but as long as you know his name and what town he is in, you can use the white pages online for the U.S. and get the information

I rearranged my bedroom today...I have so much more space and am not sitting on top of the tv......felt I was way to close but when I had the cataracts I had to sit close to see clearly.

Thank you, Icey . I enjoyed the game tonight. Would have stayed a little longer but hit F5 to refresh and totally locked up! Had to leave and reboot everything. Now, I'd better do my own quiz for tomorrow. I'm curious about the answer to the puzz you were working on when I left so abruptly. A thing Many colours Stylish I can't remember the 4th clue. What was it, Who? So many things had been guessed, I pretty much gave up after guessing Cirque du Soleil to no avail.

I bet you get a real kick out of saying that """ but when I had the cataracts I had to sit close to see clearly." doesn't it feel good to put it into the past.... yesterday turned out to be a glorious spring day and we seem to have a re-run this morning cloudless blue skies no wind and warmer weather...need a warm fleece but so much warmer than it has been with temps up to 9c and the parts the sun gets to are no longer frozen solid...the bird bath water half melted ..after being a frozen block of ice for so long I think we are all holding our breath that this is the end of an exceedingly long harsh winter........but even if by chance the cold comes back...it cannot be for too long talking of old friends we knew years ago...by a long meandering route and another joint friend managed to catch up with some one I had been very friendly with years ago in my late teens..we lost contact through no fault of either of us she had been given my email address and told me all the news of the intervening years.. ...when I wrote back I gave her all my news...commenting that it was incredible that we had named our children the same names and even more incredible they were all born in the same months of the same years within days of each other..and even more unlikely they all had the same degrees and followed the same proffetions..it was just too spooky so this old friend wrote to our joint friend saying..mouse hasn't changed she is still a joker etc etc ......anyway the coincidences were confirmed she recently moved north to be nearer her children so we see and email each other........and now live in the same county..and get along fine with each others children after a break of 50 plus ...even more amazing was the fact we just picked up from where we left off as though the years inbetween had never happened.. you couldn't make it up could you

That's amazing, mouse. Stranger than fiction as they say.
I have a couple of friends from childhood I keep in touch with. We've lived near each other, then far, back and forth, over the years and yet, when the phone rings, it's as likely to be one of them as my friend down the street.
I know what you mean about no time seeming to have gone by between contacts. It's the same for me. I remember my grandmother regretting that so many of her friends had passed on, leaving only herself to recall certain special little memories just a few of them had shared. I appreciate it that we can still do that ... though I've lost several very good friends as well.
OTOH, I despise Face Book. It's a very intrusive venue, and Google is starting to show signs of going the same route.

I'd spelt Conneaut wrong (I put Connaught). But now it wants me to register to go further. I am not sure if it is him because it says his age is 58 and I thought he was younger than that.

Morning Glories.
That is so cool Mouse. I have a couple of friends that we may go a couple of years without seeing each other and it does seem like we just pick up at our last conversation. That's always a wonderful feeling!!!
Well......we bought our house almost 20 years ago.......the daughter of the people we bought the house from is coming by tomorrow. My house is really clean....in a lived in way.......but now I feel like I have to scrub everything from top to bottom. It's making me a little crazy!!!

couldn't resist coming on to say what a glorious day it has been...been out in the garden most of the time so warm and sunny its almost too good to be true...and without the heating on its actually warmer out side than in...fantastic. so daughter and I have been gardening and moving plant pots around and sweeping up the detritus of months....I just cannot say how wonderful it is to be out side again after what seems to have been such long long winter.... due to a few plants expiring we are going to need some fresh plants......any excuse to got to the garden centres..well in a few weeks and then re planting can begin and seems granddaughter is to spend some more time AT SCHOOL OVER HERE..SO ITS BEEN A REALLY GOOD DAY TO DAY... I can feel it in my bones and purse that a few fun shopping trips will be in order

it sprinkled this morning and was overcast and now the sun is breaking through my jasmine plant is blooming and smells wonderful plus another plant I bought two years ago is finally full of leaves I'm happy cause I found a classmate on facebook that I haven't talked to in 45 years so it is good to find these people as it helps keep things in perspective and helps me remember who I am and where I came from Well done Chef, that must have been amazing to talk to your old friend after all those years. I've been looking for my mum's cousin's son on FB for ages and can't find him. He lives in Connaught Ohio and works on the Great Lakes. I suppose not everyone is on FB believe it or not! Wish I could find him and have a chat though. I would bet he has been to my hometown at one time or another if he is working on the ore carriers.....Great Lakes can get very dangerous in storms

It's been sunny and nice here, but with a little chill in the air, still. I've had several windows open today so that the house isn't so stuffy. Just closed them with the temp decreasing a few degrees as the sun is going behind clouds. Can't complain.
