My son gave me his Apple iPod. I've got a little MP3 player so I want to transfer the songs onto the iPod.
I downloaded iTunes onto the computer and have tried, in vain, to transfer the songs from Media Player onto it.
Can anyone help please?
Thanks
Maggie

Copy the songs onto your computer and then copy them onto the other device.

Open iTunes and drag the copies from the holder folder onto iTunes.

Thanks everyone. I'm a bit of a twit actually because i couldn't find the songs (apart from on the windows media player song list). Then when I plugged the ipod in, it did a synch thingy but not all the songs went onto the ipod.
Later on I investigated and found them in a folder on my computer! Thanks for all your help!
