Picked up & posted especially for Lin ;D - well, I wouldn't want her to miss her daily fix of the rest of us Labour-bashing www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2115711/Timebomb-primary-schools-How-uncontrolled-immigration-created-primaries-1-000-pupils-forced-children-eat-lunch-shifts.htmlUtter, utter madness. Did those clowns never consider that this sort of thing was BOUND to happen? Yes, they spent a LOT of money on shiny new Secondary schools, but the cynic might think that this was done so that the next generation of voters, ie those who got the benefit of lovely new schools, would vote Labour our of gratitude... Just sayin' Sadly, though, what are our present 'leaders' arguing about? www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2115677/Dont-use-words-husband-wife-Coalitions-sex-wedding-reforms-axe-terms-official-documents.htmlNice to see that the IMPORTANT stuff is being taken care of first, eh? Talk about fiddling whilst Rome burns The whole bally lot of 'em, of ALL parties, should be taken out and shot - THEN we move on to the lawyers ;D Pour encourager les autres, as it were

Here's an interesting article eureferendum.blogspot.com/2012/03/consequences.html<<For too long, we have had successive governments blathering about the economics of immigration, suggesting that there is a net benefit - a delusion to which the previous administration was particularly prone, aided and abetted by the BBC.>> Yep. All true. Sadly the present muppets can't, or more likely WON'T, do anything about it

What colour are jews? How would you identify a half jewish child? During the last part of the 20th century, forward looking people identified the new generation of mixed race as the "golden children", believing they would pull diverse cultures together. Whatever happened to that ideal?

Beth posted.:-During the last part of the 20th century, forward looking people identified the new generation of mixed race as the "golden children", believing they would pull diverse cultures together. Whatever happened to that ideal? Toby comments.:- It went down the pan due to various reasons. 1) Mixed race children are rarely accepted by either culture their parent belongs to, I know West Indians who would go ape if one of their children came home with a white or coloured partner in tow so it's not a white skinned society thing, people feel happy with their own sort and that's the way it is, it was not a true ideal, it was an invented ideal pushed out by those who want to see the white race diluted, I believe this idea started during the cold war as a means to weaken us as a Country and unfortunately it is still going on. 2) Eugenics was the great white hope at the end of the 19th. Century but it died a death like such fads do. 3) Royalty marries it's own sort, when you see William of Harry with a Zulu girl in tow, then you may assume that the golden children idea has a chance. People ape the Royals, they see Willam marrying an upper middle class white skinned girl and the proles tend to follow suit. 4) It is an unfortunate fact but children of mixed marriage usually do not turn out to be better than if either parent had married someone from their own culture, there are exceptions of course but when I look at the white mother pushing a colored baby in a pram then the Mother usually comes from the lower classes, it's just not a middle class thing. And let's not forget the so-called ,'honour killings' www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2115984/Is-Britains-white-honour-killing-victim-The-happy-headstrong-girl-17-love-racial-divide-tragic-end.html

1) I think the older generations may feel that way but not those under ooohhh say 40. At least not here. Lots of mixed race in the Greater Ohio River Valley and I honestly don't notice one way or the other when I'm traveling.
2) I don't think it can go away .. just isn't NEW anymore.
3) Toby .. that's like saying everybody will be running out and courting girls with long dark hair to emulate Prince William. You may have a point with this one though. Royalty does set the standard to some degree, I suppose. I don't think we have anyone like that ... don't know who it would be ... Donald Trump? .. Angelina and Brad?
4) I don't think mixed race signals superiority or inferiority.
"when I look at the white mother pushing a colored baby in a pram then the Mother usually comes from the lower classes, it's just not a middle class thing".
That isn't the case here.

As you noted, I have almost stopped posting on this MB mainly because more and more I see no point in doing so. But I see a need to counter Toby's post which can cause harm unless refuted. Toby you are wrong on every point and such irresponsible comments can inflame and cause considerable harm like this: A gunman on a scooter has opened fire on a Jewish school in the French city of Toulouse, killing three children and a teacher,...++++++++++++++++++++ 1. Mouse has given her personal experience. I know quite a few Hindu friends and relatives originally from India, whose daughters and sons have "White" Caucasian spouses, BY CHOICE, with FULL WELCOME (never mind "acceptance") from both sides. I dislike and fundamentally disagree with bringing skin colour into a relationship based on mutual love, but I have to counter your sweeping generalisation based on your limited experience. Both our personal experiences DIRECTLY REFUTE your statement.2. Eugenics? Irrelevant. Mouse's comment is both eloquent and accurate. 3. Royalty? Irrelevant. What has royalty got to do with how I or my family feels? If you wish to ape royalty, you are free to do so but I certainly have no wish or the public subsidy to so do. 4. Again irrelevant. WHY should children of ANY marriage or partnership turn out to be better than the parents, REGARDLESS of whether the parents' marriage is mixed or not? Did any child of Robert Alexander Schumann turn out to be better than their illustrious father?
I think you will find that often the offsprings of talented persons do not turn out to be better than the parents. It has nothing whatsoever to do with the marriage of the parents, mixed or otherwise. In view of that fact which must be known to you, your statement is both misguided and offensive. I request you not to repeat such damaging statements. Regards. Prashna

Something's off there. They ought to let the Universities pull them up instead of trying to knock the schools down. I don't think anybody here thinks that way. At least I hope not.
