Anybody with an interest in world, experimental and ancient music could do worse than RTE Lyric FM. Streaming, especially on a Sunday night between 19:00 and 01:00. From then until 07:00 is canned from a day or two before. The first couple of hours are worldy, the next hour modern electronic, musique concrete, that sort of thing, and from 22:00 on is a mixture of light and just plain weird! Mostly the weekday schedule is the same but 19:00 to 20:00 varies. Tuesday it is world music, Thursday jazz and Friday Irish traditional - and Saturday until whenever it feels like it - usually about 21:30, opera recorded live at the New York Metropolitan. The rest is the usual kind of light and classical mix but those broadcasts are not your everyday, so might be of interest.

Thanks Erasmus. Wish I could get this, but I suppose not. Anyone in the U.S. can find something similar on NPR called Echoes. I think they also have a podcast if any one wants to run it down. Good stuff.

Yes, looks nice. I hope that I gave a Net link that the computer can handle. There probably is a satellite link but I wouldn't go looking for it.

You gave a good link, Erasmus. I'm listening to it and enjoying it right now. Have to admit I'm listeing to the GOLD channel .. currently featuring a Bob Seger song (we've got tonight), but there are lots of choices.
