Deep Purple have a lot of fantastic live videos This one for instance. Great Band, good song, helluva performance ... makin' the most of it. Why's Ritchie wearing a cross, fret?

I have to confess, I dunno.
Here's the Sonny Landreth I told you about - a very original and unique style.

Oh that's fine. Sounds like he had the sounds he wanted in his head and went after them. Would be fun to attend that guitar fest, wouldn't it?
I think Ritchie was just warding off vampires.

We have tickets to a triple threat concert tomorrow night with 3 80s bands. They are Journey, Foreigner and Night Ranger. If they are still any good it will be fun. Here is Night Ranger in their prime.

Here's another good one in their prime while the voices were still there.

Early to mid 80s? Thanks .. I enjoyed it.
Most of the singers with good powerful voices are very small people. Has anyone else noticed that?
In this case though, he needed the amps, didn't he.
