Some members may have seen that Yahoo have stopped allowing comments on their forum. Yahoo is well known as a doyen of the Fake News and Lies Media because they trawl through stories published by the left wing gutter press and re-publish such stories that suit their leftoid narrative, of course the backlash can at times be severe as there are many who visit the Yahoo (also known as Yahpoo), board just to mock and ridicule the amateurish waffle that passes for Journalism. Yahoo stopped allowing comments recently, they said that they ,'want to create a better world', we all know this is a lie !

I used to be on a Board with one of the members posting as ,'Weyland Yutani', the board is long gone, a pity because it was interesting.

Hi Mouse, those were interesting times, I remember we had a lot more freedom to say what we wanted to but it seems that all boards become more strictly monitored over the years and as with Yahoo, they stopped comments.
Under what name did you post ?
I had a few different alias over the years. The best board I was ever on was ,'don't start me off', or DSMO,but that was taken down by the combined might of the Lefty media because we used to laugh, ridicule and make fun of self-important goons and that is one thing they hate, to be made fun of.
I used to be on Electric Hermit as well as James St. George and there was one Lady poster I met up with in Holland and we had a meal together, she was a Geordie and a nice person too. We used to post on the BBC fivelive board when it was censorship free.

I remember the Harbour well, I had a strange experience which made me stop posting on the Harbour, I was at home looking at the Harbour on my computer, we had a Lady visitor who was psychic and this Lady came and had a look at my screen which just happened to show a photo of the children of the Lady who ran the Harbour site. the visitor pointed at the middle child and said, 'the devil is in her', I laughed at this but she was very insistant that she sensed something very bad in one particular child. I mentioned this on the Harbour but the torrent of abuse I received from one other poster, (a bald guy who worked on ocean going ships), lead me to pack it in. A pity because there were a few good posters on that site but one bad apple ruins it all.

James St. George also used to post on Electric Hermit, his was the voice of reason and tolerance I must add ! Also on Electric Hermit we had ,'Old Holborn', who some may remember as running as Independant for Parliament wearing a Guy Fawkes mask.

Yes Fretty you are quite correct, it seems we were living in a Golden age of commenting but comments gradually were more and more stifled over the years. I can understand this too because it must be an absolute nightmare for any Government having it's own citizens free to discuss matters, free to say whatever they like and share ideas. There must have been something that forced Yahoo to close down the commenting but I am not sure what it was, they say it is temporary but I reckon that is a lie.
Weyland married Jilona but she died not long afterwards which I thought rather sad, the riot grrrl was more left than she let on, (assuming that it was really a '(she'),
As I already mentioned in another post, the absolute best and most interesting board I ever posted on was, DSMO or Don't start me off. This got taken down by nasty vicious Leftoids and Feminists helped by the Guardian and other leftoid rags who organized mass protests against the board. I will dig out a link to one of the Guardians columnists who ran her own site and out it up here, this biddy has all the messages of support from all the weirdos you can imagine still up even though DSMO was stifled nearly 10 years ago.

Yes I heard about Jilona after the event, I liked her and Weyland was sharp. The Grrl was, as I recall, an avid defender of Common Purpose - she'd been on it - so that informs one where she is on the spectrum. Sadly, nothing is forever, Tobes.

The poster in london had an avatar of Marilyn Monroe with the caption me pictured last week. But I can't remember the name. I hate that!
