According to the expert Guardian in February:
Global heating is “supercharging” an increasingly dangerous climate mechanism in the Indian Ocean
...
“There has been research suggesting that Indian Ocean dipole events have become more common with the warming in the last 50 years, with climate models suggesting a tendency for such events to become more frequent and becoming stronger”
...warming appeared to be “supercharging” mechanisms already existing in the background. “The Indian Ocean is particularly sensitive to a warming world. It is the canary in the coalmine seeing big changes before others come to other tropical ocean areas.”

And the reality? Well, it's a far cry fom the nonsense spouted by the activists at The Guardian and the rest of the media.
India Confirms No Increase in Tropical Cyclones Due to Climate Change
India, one of the key members of the global climate change pact, has reiterated that there is no increase in cyclones due to climate change in the region.
Instead, scientists have found out that there is actually a decrease in cyclone frequency since the year 1950.
This stands in contradiction to the popular mainstream narrative. And with 1.3 billion people in India, and millions in the neighboring countries also heavily affected by the monsoons and regional cyclones, this news brings much relief and exposes the false narrative promoted by the United Nations and many media sources about dangers of increasing cyclones.

Climate models suggest... because they were programmed to.
