Here is a Politico link that will take you to a good array of information. There is also a link to a page that gives new counts state by state about testing positive numbers. www.politico.com/

From what I've read Trump is trying to shorten the quarantines from a month or so to 15 days. Meanwhile, more and more people are testing positive. I'd LIKE to think it will be over in 15 days but right nbow I'd rather be careful than to risk killing a lot of people in the process.

I read that this evening with quotes from doctors who think that is a dangerous route to take. I feel strongly Trump should not be in charge of the medical decisions. this is my opinion only., I am not a Doctor.

@jessie"I feel strongly Trump should not be in charge of the medical decisions. this is my opinion only., I am not a Doctor.""
The President listens to advice from Experts Jessie, he does not decide himself what to do he is a figurehead. Doctors have No idea what is going on, only Epidemiologists understand the ramifications.
My view is that there needs to be much tougher controls on Who exactly is entering a Country and if any doubt they need to be quarantined. We will be seeing around a 1% death rate from Covid-19 but suppose the next virus bred in unsanitary areas of China kills say 50% ? These are unnacceptable risks !!

He has no power to either lift or enforce quarantines, but he has much better judgment and grasp of economics than the pinhead medical professionals who are badgering him to take us back to the stone age. The young people of the country, who were already barely getting by, will remember who forced them into destitution and penury, and it won't be President Trump. There are probably millions already infected with this alleged virus, but the death count is ridiculously low.

Trump has now announced he wants to wrap all this up by Easter. My wife has a friend in Seattle. She says the city has put a curfew in place for 5:30 pm until further notice. If you, and Trump, are wrong, it could put a lot of vulnerable people into harms way.

If you, and Trump, are wrong, it could put a lot of vulnerable people into harms way. It is more likely that (a) social distancing never worked, and isn't working now (b) millions are infected, or were infected, and don't know it (c) millions recovered, and don't know it (d) the virus isn't nearly as deadly as was feared in the first place

At least you are admitting "millions" are infected.\
The medical people are telling Trump to back off.

At least you are admitting "millions" are infected. What's to admit? The PCR test is a joke, so they will never figure out who, among the "infected," are actually ill because of it. The only number that means anything is the number of DEATHS, and that number only matters if -- and only if -- they're doing proper autopsies, which I suspect they AREN'T. The medical people are telling Trump to back off. The medical people are idiots. They're pulling numbers out of their asses and smugly telling us to trust them. We shouldn't.

That's why he keeps changing his story.

I'll trust the medical people and wait to see what happens by Easter. If you believe a proven liar, you are not a very good source for accurate information.

Does everybody understand medical people don't get to speak at WH news conferences unless they find some way to praise Trump in the process? It's wise to understand what we're dealing with is a narcissist and that affects his demands and decisions. Keep in mind he has not yet signed the package that gives Americans an extra check to help make up for work and paychecks lost.

you think we should trust Trump? I trust him to know economics, and that's a lot more important than this "pandemic." I don't hang on the word of any U.S. president. He's not there to wet-nurse a country of twitchy, irrational crybabies. He's there to protect this country from its enemies, foreign and domestic -- that includes Democrats who are just itching to use a contrived "crisis" to get what they've always wanted -- an authoritarian, Marxist state.
