It's chilly tonight, but dry. Weatheman says we'll be up into the low 60s F tomorrow.
Sounds good to me.

h0pe toda is a better day for you Beth... I think we all need some good weather so we can relax and take in vitamin c and d....its been such a long lng winter.. almost constant wet here...….as reading an Asteroid is coming our way.. will get dangerously close.... add that to covid19.. climate hype hype...Brexit.. world recession..the still constant batterings from the eu…..shmarkle….and invading immigrants....lawdy… enough to depress even the most solid of persons.... think the trouble is that today one really cannot get away from the news.... via quick reports on tv.. or headlines when powering up computers.... no sign of sunshine this morning just bitterly cold … trying tp persuade daughter to make some jam tarts... I have a considerable craving..... and I happen to know we have damson jam......a friend brought round who know my weakness for both damson and green gage.....and apricot.. you can keep all the other jams and just feed me those three...….have been having small crakers with cream cheese and jam.. just as a little filler before dinner[appitites coming back]....trouble is and getting very round …..

It is cloudy and cold today and for the next 3 days with a possibility of snow tomorrow and Friday. Then, milder weather on Saturday and warm, spring like temps back again on Sunday. The thing I like most about Alexa is her ability to give us fairly accurate weather readings and forecasts every day.
We are hoping to go out to the farm and take some plants to go into the little green house daughter keeps for us. The 50s F would be just right.
Mouse, I hope your improvement continues and that you will be sitting in the garden in the sun by the time April rolls around.

so do I Jessie... so do I...…..actually made it down stairs yesterday afternoon....and actually sat down for a few mins before going back upstairs.... it nearly put my lights out... felt I had run a marathon by the time I got back to bed...……..but today I shall do it twice.....feel as though am getting some where at long last...next week the aim is to get dressed.... today is dark again.. cold and wet.. yet another weather front of the naty type is heading our way...I feel for those who keep being flooded....they haven't had a chance to dry out.. just the same water every where.....

Another nice day today. Blue sky, white puffy clouds. Not a snowflake in sight.
Our daughter is in Girl Scouts and I get a turn at being assistant den mother since the usual one is home sick this week. Should be fun, eight little girls and all those cookies!
I hope all of you are having a good day.

It's great that you're making progress, Mouse. Keep it up but take care you have away to steady yourself!
I'm better, just a little indigestion ... I suspect from eating too many blueberries, plentiful and delicious this year. None for me today, though.
Worked this morning, going to read this afternoon. I'm reading The Ship of Brides by Jojo Moyes. 3 chapters in and it appears to be a good one.

I hope all of you are having a good day. I'm sure it was a pleasure, Anna. I was a Den Mother for a time when my son was a Cub Scout. There was quite a flap at the time about gay men applying to be Scout Masters. I have wondered since whether that was one of the reasons the Boy Scouts went down hill. It is one reason my daughter pushed my grandson into sports, instead.

I'm not sure where he got them, possibly Costco. We have been sprinkling blueberries on everything at meals. I assume they are healthy. They are very tasty.

I had blueberries on my oatmeal this morning and my sister came in with a blueberry pie as a weekend treat. They must be plentifuil farther south. Very good!

Mouse, I think Trump is terrified of the virus, too. He doesn't want to have anything to do with it ... spend next to no money on it so everything has been turned over to Pence to organize and oversee. No cases in my state yet, but we are wary ... trying to stay away from being in crowds unnecessarily. The PT class has been called off for the next couple of weeks.
Hoping for the best.

Trump's always had a reputation for an unusually high fear of germs and illness. I'd say it would be a good idea for somebody else to take over and leave him to his other duties.

well he needs to be scared... he is a prime target… male and over 70..... one person here has actually told the truth and said if the death projections are correct iit will clear out the hospitals of long stayers/bed blockers.....very true...… after the bubonic plague or blakdeath had run its self out and been stopped not far from here centuries ago... the people who were left had a great increase in standard and quality of living …. wages went up and housing standards improved.. so for the survivours it turned out well in the long run
any profiteering will be looked on very seriously so they say... and no need to hoard so they say... though why toilet paper should run out beats me.... daughter has just gone shopping for the weekend foods....will see what she has to say when she comes back...I shall be cr0ss if all the spring lamb and jersey potatos have gone and the vegies...….but some how I dnt think they will be...
the eu has told the migrents at the Turkish border that the door to Europe is glosed….. bit late in the day it should have been done years ago,, instead of letting Merkel ride rough shod and flood us out with all commers...pity that will be what she is remembered for.... as Shakespeare said""the evil that men do lives after them... the good is oft inttered with their bones""

Sometimes a healthy heart is nearly as important as a functioning brain. We have sun and blue skies and a forecast of temps going into the 50s F today and 60s tomorrow. No winter to speak of. We've had them like this before, but it's been awhile. I hope you're doing well today. I have a computer problem and may not be able to get anyone to come in and have a look until Monday. Patience is a virtue ... or so they say.

This is a pretty dead news day. The people around here are watching the basketball games and eating. lol
I had to leave the fried chicken and cherry pie to come into the office and pick up the Saturday mail. It's a really nice day with sunshine and blue skies.
Hope all of you are having a good weekend.
