If, before the election, Labour had Brexit woes, in the aftermath of a crushing defeat they have multiplied - exponentially.
Corbyn's hard-left cult are trying for a continuity candidate. That might look good on paper, but reality bites...
Jeremy Corbyn was given the “hairdryer” treatment in a 20-minute, public dressing-down from an MP who lost her seat. Mary Creagh, the former MP for Wakefield, had been clearing out her Commons office when she saw the Labour leader posing for selfies with young people.
She told the Times she approached Mr Corbyn and gave him a stern talking-to.
“I told him he shouldn’t be having his photo taken with young people because he had betrayed their future,” she said. “I asked him to apologise for what he’d done.”
She says she unloaded on Mr Corbyn, branding Labour’s manifesto a “joke” and accusing him of alienating Labour voters.

Veteran backbencher Margaret Hodge said “it was fury, despair, miserable” as she accused the party’s senior figures of “corporate amnesia”.
And former shadow Cabinet minister Rachel Reeves said she told Mr Corbyn “the biggest drag on the support at this election was him and his leadership.”
“But on the whole it was fury, despair, miserable and I just felt that the top table [was in] total denial,” she said.
“And corporate amnesia, that’s what it felt like.”
She said of Mr Corbyn there was “fury that he didn’t go and visit the right constituencies”, and “fury at the organisation”.

After such a debacle, taking selfies with kids? Wow.
It only occurred to me the other day that Labour lost virtually all of its traditional working class Midland and Northern seats. The one seat it did gain was very middle class Putney in London. That fact speak volumes about Corbynism and the people who believe in it. The Champagne Corbynistas.

He said the performance by Labour at such a crucial time in British politics was "unforgivable".
He went ton to say the party which he previously led had been hijacked by “the far left” who had “turned it into a glorified protest movement with cult trimmings, utterly incapable of being a credible government”.

Blair is dead right. My parents were working class, my family was a Labour family. And then the Labour party ditched us. as white, racist, xenophobic etc etc
Now they are reaping what they have sown.
Currently, potential candidate for leader, Emily (Lady Nugee) Thornberry has become mired in allegations of 'elitism':
Emily Thornberry says she has begun legal action against a former colleague who claimed that she called some Leave voters "stupid".
She said Caroline Flint's claim she had told an MP from a Leave-voting area "I am glad my constituents aren't as stupid as yours" was "a complete lie".
Ms Flint, who lost her seat at the election, has stood by her remarks.

Emily Thornberry has resigned from Labour's front bench after sending a tweet during the Rochester and Strood by-election which was branded "snobby".
The shadow attorney general apologised for the message, which showed a terraced house with three England flags, and a white van parked outside.
UKIP said she had "sneered, and looked down her nose at a white van in Strood with the cross of St George on it".
Labour leader Ed Miliband was "angry" at her, a senior figure told the BBC.
The resident of the house, Dan Ware, said Ms Thornberry - the MP for Islington South and Finsbury - was a "snob".
"I've not got a clue who she is - but she's a snob," he told the Sun. "We put the flags up for the World Cup (in 2014) and will continue to fly them."

On balance, I can believe Lady Nugee thinks leavers are 'stupid'.
Caroline Flint, who ceded her Don Valley constituency to the Tories on Thursday, warned that neither the Shadow Brexit Secretary or Shadow Foreign Secretary could become the party's next leader because of their stance on Brexit.
Speaking on Sky News, Ms Flint blamed Labour’s catastrophic defeat on both Jeremy Corbyn’s leadership and the party’s policy of seeking a second EU referendum.
Reflecting on the loss of her Don Valley seat, which Labour had held for 22 years, Ms Flint said Mr Corbyn and her party’s Brexit stance had been the problem, and that anyone who disagreed was “in denial".
She said: “On nearly every doorstep Corbyn came up as a negative. People didn’t trust him.

According to Corbyn it was a negative media that caused his "very popular programme" to, er, crash and burn.
Jeremy Corbyn has refused to accept responsibility for Labour's failure in the general election and insisted Brexit and the media were to blame.
Can you get more detached than that? Perhaps Nicholas Maduro knows the answer to that.
