It was a big night at the Albert Hall...
JEREMY Corbyn has been slammed for failing to show at Festival of Remembrance to honour Brit hero soldiers. The Labour leader's absence sparked outrage among members of the public - who blast the move as "a spectacular own goal" by the party.
It comes just days after a Labour frontbencher was blasted for claiming a Remembrance Sunday poppy wreath on expenses.
Marsha De Cordova, shadow minister for work and pensions, claimed £17 back from taxpayers for the floral tribute.

But Jeremy does do remembrances when it suits his cause. He famously laid a weath at the tomb of a Palestinian terrorist who led the attack on the Munich Olympics killing Israeli athletes in 1972

Jeremy Corbyn has said he was present but not involved at a wreath-laying for individuals behind the group that carried out the Munich Olympic massacre, a partial admission that has led to a row with Israel’s prime minister.

The question now is not whether Jeremy Corbyn’s Labour party is fit to govern, but whether it is fit to contest an election.
These are truly extraordinary times. I can remember a number of occasions when major political parties simply fell apart – most commonly after a spectacular defeat – but never before in the opening days of a general election campaign.
It is impossible to exaggerate the political significance

Corbyn has taken a well-oiled political machine and totally trashed it.
Last night's no-show merely confirms what everybody knows. He hates this country and its people.
