British lawmakers just voted to put off a decision on the Prime Minister's deal, legally forcing him to ask the EU for another Brexit delay
What we're covering here What's happening with Brexit? UK lawmakers just voted to put off a decision on the Prime Minister’s deal, forcing him to ask the EU for another Brexit delay. What is the Letwin amendment? The measure was proposed by Oliver Letwin, an MP who was booted out of the Conservative parliamentary party last month by Boris Johnson when he supported anti no-deal legislation known as the Benn Act. The amendment called for lawmakers to "withhold support" from Johnson's plan until all of the legislation required to implement the bill is passed by Parliament as well. Does this mean Brexit’s delayed? Johnson is legally obliged to request a Brexit extension from the European Union if he can't pass his plan by 11 p.m. local time tonight (6 p.m. ET). Will we get a vote on Boris Johnson's deal next week? That's unclear at this stage. It could happen on Monday but a decision won't be taken until then. more here www.cnn.com/uk/live-news/brexit-deal-vote-boris-johnson-dle-oct-19-intl-gbr/index.html

the UK does not use the term lawmakers... ours are MPs members of parliament .. elected to govern on behalf of the people.….. notice on behalf... not for the people …..
Boris is a means to an end.. only as usefull as what he delivers …. and if he doent deliver.. well he is expendable.....what I know of this deal its crap...… so we can only hope that he is doing a double bluff and attemting to get us out without a deal...….
and yes he sent his letter to the eu… however he did not sign it as it was not him who wanted an extension.....
