As ever there are two parts to a Labour policy:
#1 The Party conference
Labour Conferences require photographic ID together with written delegate applications which are further vetted by the police. The cheapest costs £30.

Voting fraud is a problem and to address that the proposal of obliging people to show photographic ID before they are allowed to vote was in the Queen's speech. Shouldn't be a problem for the Labour party, right?
#2 Elections
Jeremy Corbyn has strongly condemned government plans to pass legislation requiring voters to present photo ID at polling stations, calling them “clearly discriminatory”.
“The people that the Tories are trying to stop voting will be disproportionately from ethnic minority backgrounds and they will disproportionately be working class voters of all ethnicities.

Jeremy seems ignorant of the fact that International election observers have repeatedly called for the introduction of ID in polling stations in the UK, saying its absence is a security risk.”
The recommendations by the Organisation for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE); and its analysis of the 2010 and 2015 general elections suggested the government should give “serious consideration” to introducing “a more robust mechanism for identification of voters”.
Jeremy Corbyn actually hired a Momentum organiser convicted of voter fraud to work in his office.
