all over grey but we know the sun is up there realy to shine...… after today we will get heavy rain and then it will really begin to heat up,,,,,we all live in hope friends round later so there will be merriment and quips flying back and forth

We are back from our little trip. It is blue skies and bright sun, everything in summer bloom.
Was yesterday the solstice?
Everything turning over, just in time.
We brought back strawberries. The tomatoes should be coming along in a couple of weeks. Melon, too.

gloomy with rain at times...nothing too bad little jakey appeared out of the blue... his owners are having building work done and its stressing him out... so we will have just during the day...seems the neighbours called the press before the police were involved...
meanwhile grandson 2 is sweltering in Paris where the European heatwave is continuinghe is there for another couple of weeks and is hoping it may get cooler

I noticed in the forecast that Europe was supposed to get some very hot weather.
It's warm and springlike here. To bad I'm at work (but off tomorrow)

yes Europe is on the cusp of a heat inferno....very high temps of which governments are already issuing warnings ...to stay indoors when it arrives...plus the fact it will also be very humid...which will make it feel even hotter than the 30-40 heights expected the really hot spell is set to last for a week... so we shall see if the heat maps are acurate
but right now is dark and gloomy rained several times during the night

glorious morning.. clear blue skies not a cloud in sight.....the garden calls and the temps are up.... was going shopping but don't want to miss sitting out on such a lovely day

to day is a re run of yesterday... the only difference is we will sit in some one elses garden this afternoon and celebrate my friends end of chemo.....just the radiology to get through and then we hope she can return to normality

Cicadas are out and singing away. I don't think '19 is supposed to be a big year for them, here. Glad of that.

beautiful hot sunshine again,,,,,cannot get enough of it its warm in the evenings too.. so last evening we sat out....so enjoyable on the down side I haven't seen any bats or swifts/swallows so far this year but Bees are in abundance all over the flowers which are full of pollen
