Take a look, you'll see what I mean - the Halloween movies for October and a little of everything else. www.seventeen.com/life/g1558/best-halloween-movies/Also - Somebody told me Beetlejuice can be rented from YouTube for one showing for $2.98 so invite friends and set up the TV room for a Beetlejuice night. You'd be surprised how many people haven't seen that one yet.

Favorites are (just 3 for now) The Witches of Eastwick Rocky Horror Picture Show Beetlejuice

For Halloween, I like Hocus Pocus, Young Frankenstein and Rocky Horror Picture Show. Seven is a really scary one too, with a nasty surprise.

Anything by Roger Corman, especially with Vincent Price and Hazel Court ! I am not a great Harvey Corman fan though I recognize his worth. Vincent Price, OTOH, has been a life long favorite. House of Wax was the first horror film I saw and I was too young. My sister and brother (older) dragged me along and it tramatized me for quite some time. Otherwise, The Shining is my pick for best scary movie.

Put me down for Evil Dead, It and Silence of the Lambs if this is for adults.
Most kids don't really like scary stuff, maybe Beetlejuice would be okay.

When it comes to hair-raising tales, you can't beat Stephen King.

I like the old one even though it's only good for TV and computer viewing. It has a better solid story and really good acting.
