TREVOR Phillips has said that Britain risks “flames” of racial and religious conflict because of a “liberal self-delusion” over the impact of mass immigration.
Phillips, the former head of the equality watchdog said that decades of multiculturalism and diversity policy the UK is being allowed to “sleepwalk to catastrophe” by leaders too “touchy”, “smug”, “complacent” and “squeamish” to talk about race.

Phillips is a bit of a latecomer to common sense, but his arrival is welcome. It was Phillips who blew the whistle on New Labour's imported damaged children from African war zones who were plonked into bog-standard comprehensives and left to get on with it. The result? Today's extreme violence in gangs. They are relatively numb to atrocities having witnessed them firsthand.
