After the Singapore summit: What happens when Donald Trump realizes he’s been played?
Now that the dust has settled on the Singapore summit and we've all watched that bizarre White House produced propaganda film at least half a dozen times just to be sure we weren't dreaming, it's worthwhile to look at the event with fresh eyes and ask ourselves if it really was as surreal as it seemed to be. As I wrote on Tuesday, the signed agreement didn't add up to much, despite's Trump's predictably tiresome hype that it was the most spectacular deal any two leaders had ever made in the history of the world. It's basically a watered-down version of earlier deals that ultimately fell apart and a recommitment to the one that Kim Jong-un and South Korean President Moon Jae-in signed a couple of months ago. Trump later said in his press conference that he was going to halt regional war games because they were unnecessarily provocative (for which he received nothing in return) surprising the South Koreans and the Pentagon. It is still unclear how and why that announcement happened but last January the Wall Street Journal reported this, which offers a clue: keep reading www.salon.com/2018/06/13/after-the-singapore-summit-what-happens-when-donald-trump-realizes-hes-been-played/

This is "wait and see". NK is boasting about sanction relief and perhaps other things we don't know about yet.

This is "wait and see". NK is boasting about sanction relief and perhaps other things we don't know about yet. if both sides of Korea continue to actually talk to each other.. then that in its self is a bit achievement ... whether good or bad is for time to tell.. but an achievement it is...as is getting Kim to talk rather than posturing it hope fully is the start of ongoing conversations and meetings rather than threats and posturing...it wont be without hiccups...but words are always better than bombs point is kim met some one very much like himself in trump......and it worked

I heard today that Trump had made North Korea promises we don't yet know about to get their agreement. 2 new things today. The North Korean "treaty" was more in their favor than theirs and due to the primary elections this week, Trump is claiming leadership of the whole GOP. Oh yeah and #3, NY is sueing the Trump family charity for illegal activity. What a week!

well of course any treaty will favour them more than any one else...because they are the odd one out and its them who America wishes to curb on nuclear technology...so they will wring out whatever they can from any future deal as for trump slauting.. well its only an empty gesture ... he isn't in uniform so its meaning less posturing ... many more meaning less gestures will be made on both sides in the progress toward the end goal
