Great band in its time. Streets ahead of the Beatles. That track's far from their best, though. You like the tacky synthetic accent? T, I thought the TSA was deliberate ... a part of the whole intent on that one. Am I wrong? no, you're not. it's sarcasm and "the hell with you" at its finest

Perhaps I should be more patient. (But it's not the first time Mick's tried tacky American.) it's certainly not even close to tacky, but, if you want mick doing american, here ya go absolutely great

We get to choose 3?
This is my first one.
Queen - Somebody to Love

I love Queen ... the ultimate stadium band.
Let's hold this over another week ... until next Friday to see if we can pick up some more songs.
This is my 3rd choice and probably should be first. It's been covered over and over and, though some (Rolling Stones) do more with it than others (Grateful Dead), it's hard to corrupt beyond it's true worth. Buddy Holly's best gift to rock.

another one from across the pond, my favorite animals song, great for being an all around song, lyrics and music From my home town. But not quite the same without Alan Price, Chas Chandler, Hilton Valentine, and John Steel. I followed them from when they used to play in the Downbeat, which was a rat-infested shack behind Newcastle Central station. Great band then. Burdon did a lot to make the Blues known in Britain. He and John Mayall and Alexis Korner. Happy daze.
