The last Harry Potter movie is in the can - or almost there, so Warner Brothers, casting around for another popular, profitable series, has reached a deal with DC to bring out a new movie with one of the DC super heroes every summer for the next several years. A Green Lantern movie - now in production - will be out in 2011 with Ryan Reynolds in the title roll and the next Batman is set for summer 2012. Rumor has it the next two on the schedule are Wonder Woman and a new Superman. Odds are Christian Bale will return as Batman but there is doubt and speculation about who will play the villain - and which villain it will be. Best guess, the Riddler or return of the Joker . . . maybe with Johnny Depp, since he is a great actor and famous for off beat roles. How about Superman and Wonder Woman? Anyone want to take a guess? I thought Linda Carter was the perfect WW, and Christopher Reeve the ideal Superman. Who can fill their shoes? The Article

Cesar Romero, I presume. I believe I like Jack Nicholson's Joker best . . . though Heath Ledger played him for the maximum evil. Johnny Depp has created some wonderful anti-heroes. He could do justice (so to speak ) to any of the DC Universe villains.. Oh hey! I'll bet Tom Cruise would make a great villain - maybe Lex Luthor.
