we are used to our DS now.. during ww2 the clocks were adjusted by two hours giving even longer lighter spells
temps dropped a little and after a beautiful start we now have an all over grey according to the weather people.. we are expecting snow next week and temps of minus 10.... as how ever the weather people go stark raving crazy if theres a snow flake in sight.. I will wait till it happens..... ready and alert but waiting like every thing else the weather is used to bludgeon and the snowfall in the south is the only one which matters ... a light covering and the schools now close etc etc... pathetic isn't it... if we still had winters as we used to have them there would be a collective breakdown

Warm! Going into the 70 with showers today. If not for the fall colors it would seem more like April than November.
Didn't bother with the movie last night. There was nothing everyone wanted to see. Easier to play canasta, which we did.

looks like Babylon and PB have a problem.
Our line of members and guests who have been in tonight has vanished. There were 10 names when I was here a little bit ago. Hope they get it repaired by tomorrow!

I went in to work very early and it was chilly enough for a coat (ski jacket). Getting off work in a few minutes and it warmer with sun, but not actually warm.
I have our dinner cooking in the crock pot and looking forward to it. Off work tomorrow!

Well, it's been a long, hard workday, but a lot was accomplished and Wednesday will be a free day. It warms up to the 70s F during the day but goes back down to the low 50s (pretty chilly) at night. Typical fall weather that always makes me want to move a couple of states farther south (until I remember where that would put me ). I'm trying to catch up on the news this evening. Nothing positive so far except that Trump is out of the country. The scandals are ongoing and becoming really tiresome. Now that Monday's out of the way, let's get on with the rest of the week and try to have a good'un. xo

I have been away from home all day for various reasons. Tomorrow and Friday will be home days to rest before the weekend. We have volunteered to stay with 2 young grandchildren over the weekend. I think it will be just fine and a chance to catch up with the changes they've had over the past year. One has gone from nursery school to kindergarten and the other is in nursery school for the first time. I am sure their social skills are developing from their new experiences. They are both chocolate lovers so I'll come up with a good chocolate dessert.
