Setember and the sun is shining brightly and is actually quite hot long may it last We're going into a chilly weekend. Highs in the mid 60s F and lows in the mid 50s F. The whole eastern part of the country is getting some impacting from the Harvey blast in the south - or so the weatherman says. It's overcast and might rain. Might even storm. My days work was up in the company helicopter. They're thinking about postponing it. Enjoy your late summer, mouse.

Plodding along but making a come back, soon. I ended up having to get assistance with the computer problems.
Cloudy and expecting rain sooner or later. Cool, which is a rather nice change.
We have the big River Fest this weekend with a gynormous fireworks display. hope they don't get rained out.

Ihave a couple of other threads I'd like to put up, but better wait.

Thank you, Beth. Happy weekend to you, too. I hope you get your computer back to normal today.
We're having sun and kclouds today with cooler temperatures. I was hoping the swimming pools we use would be open on into September, but I'm starting to doubt it.

The weather has turned off chilly, and Irma is still on a course to impact our southeast this coming week. The map I saw indicated Irma could hit Daytona or Jacksonville as well as the Georgia and Carolina islands.
That would be dreadful.
I am hoping the storm loses steam before that can happen. I have a friend in Daytona Beach who is too old and wobbly to deal with something like this. Since that is a prime area for retirees, I'm sure she is not the only one.

Where is Chef? Her smiling virtual face is missed! Hmmm .. I don't seer her. I haven't been here much for the past couple of days. Maybe she's gone on a jaunt to visit some of the things that interest here. Let's give her a little space and she may be back tomorrow or Monday with tales to tell.

I have friends down that way, too, Jessie. In fact, I have a cousin who lives on Hilton Head Island. Hoping Irma wears out in the ocean.

Sorry you missed your breakfast out, mouse. Breakfast is my favorite meal. We have restaurants that serve breakfast all day. A major treat!
It's still cool but the sun is bright. Nice holiday weekend.
