I went to a lecture on the pipe organ and was able to listen to it's magnificent sound. It has 1900 pipes so there are few words to describe the beauty of such an instrument. I'm so excited!!!! September 10th is a three hour organ concert with the pipe organ....I shall be so happy. When she played today I got goosebumps all over just a few of the pipes that are visable I tell ya, these pipe organs really crank my motor

bank holiday Monday.. and so far it isn't raining... but it isn't like yesterday either.. which turned out to be a beautiful day am going a trot on my new scooter later today to see how it performs .. its slightly different to mine[before daughter blue it up] my wheels were larger and the seat-backrest and arms not quite are not quite as large ...so it may not be quite as comfortable a ride
very overcast with a slight breeze

All blue sky today, not seen it this blue for a long time, barely a whisper of cloud. 25C apparently but feels cooler as it is quite breezy.

Nice rose, I don't really grow any flowers, I have a few wild ones I think which turned out to be a herb. This one is called Herb Robert apparently also known as "Stinking Bob" apparently it smell but I could not smell anything. I was also wondering what this tiny one was, I had to put a watering can there to get a focus on it. Oh I remember now I think it is some sort of willowherb. [edit - found it] It is Epilobium montanum - Broad-leaved Willowherb Not quite as impressive as your Rose though Mouse lol. Maybe I should grow some roses myself, seeing yours make me realise what a good idea it is. It would certainly brighten up the garden!

Also, when weddings and funerals are ending. It's very pleasant, year around.

I don't see the fun in watching workers. Is that a female thing? Our zoo is a big one and one day is not enough to see everything I like to visit a couple of days in a row every 2 or 3 years. Likewise, the state fair is a weekend trip. Best when we have tickets for one of the shows, but all the exhibits are good, too.

Beware of motorcycles and cows! Don't laugh. I've had some experiences with both of 'em on country roads.

Best when we have tickets for one of the shows, but all the exhibits are good, too. it's not so much the workers but the machines they operate....my dad was in construction, owned a redi-mix concrete business, so it's in my blood...I am so blue collar lol The zoo here is the oldest zoo in Califofnia and one of smallest accredited in country...the gibbons they have today were there when my children were very young. I can usually go on Wednesdays at half price for $3.50 State fair is in Sacramento and that's to far plus food and a room so I go to the little one in town or county fair but hate driving in a bumpy field so may not go.
