This had to have been the perfect Easter, weather-wise. We went to church and then to lunch, out. This afternoon, we gave our own little Easter egg hunt for 6 kids and they all won something. Little daughter just conked out. It was a big, busy day for her. Hope all here had an Easter to remember.

It was a long day and a nice one. Hot and humid. Glad to be home but a little annoyed with myself I didn't leave the AC on. Trying to cool things off now.

bright sunshine but chilly ..it might warm up later still in the 40sF long way to go until it hots up grandson left yesterday..he and 2 of his fellow students are in the process of moving out of hall acomadation and into private acomadation.. they have found a house to rent which on the face of it sounds good..Daughters going across to look it over and stand surety for the rent and just check it out in general they need one more person to join them and if they cannot find any one the letting agency has some one on their books for the remaining empty bedroom.. this will be the first private accomadation any of them have lived in.. so quite a change from the secure living on campus

Sounds like grandson is growing up on you, mouse. Best of luck to him!
This morning, we found out the parking lot at work will be repaved so we worked double time today to allow for a very short day tomorrow.
I'm very glad that's over. Nice to be home.

We need to have rain today. The humidity is extreme to the point of being uncomfortable.
I have grocery shopping to do and then a free day to do whatever I choose. I am thinking about watching the Sherlock Holmes series on netflix, a little at a time.

I have a note from mouse saying she's having monitor trouble and that she'll be back as soon as it's fixed.

Soon you'll be so used to the large screen you won't believe you managed so long without it. Weather report: Hot! 83 degrees and very humid. Mostly bright sun but some clouds are sneaking in, too. Thunderstorms are predicted. Work at the office is over for the long weekend, but I'll be working from home tomorrow and Monday. have to leave for PT at the gym in a few. Back later.

we are only at 48f so no relaxing in warmth just yet a while.. but its much better than it was and still a grey world we have decided to go shopping tomorrow morning.. going early before the crowds..i feel in dire need of a spend.. just for spendings sake..though there are one or two things I would like to get a couple of colouring books by an artist whose range I really like along with some new types of pens ive seen advertised so we are not going to any of our usual places but to a retail shopping area which has a large bookstore and a hobby store as well as the usual high street chains .. I would usually rather shop at small individual shops which specialise but needs must when needs must so we will settle for stores rather than shops .. and of course while going from one store to another I might just see something I really cannot live without

Our forecast is giving rain, but we have not seen one drop.
So, sunny and warm for our weather.
Good for you with your new monitor and shopping trips, mouse.
Have fun!
