It is pouring rain and I need to go out but can postpone till later today as it's supposed to taper off after 1pm so got up early and threw in a load of laundry. This happens to me everytime!!! It is barely raining so I head to my car in the parking lot and about halfway there it starts to rain harder...and to top it off, dropped purse about 1/2 way and didn't notice till I got to car so had to walk back to retrieve it. I did to much today....I made an extra stop at the lumbar yard to get four regular bricks and three 15 1/2" length bricks...darn things are a bit heavy. While at the lumbar yard I did see the world's largest hammer. en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pierson_Building_Center_giant_hammer

Chef, I hope you're not one of those people who puts in a load of wash and then goes off and leaves it for hours. We used to live in an apartment complex with laundry rooms on the premises, and that was the most rude, annoying thing we ran into. It's probably the big reason we went ahead and moved in with my parents for a year until we could afford to get a house.

I sit by my microwave and read or surf the internet so I hear timer.

Wow, Chef! So close and yet nothing like the winter you've been lucky enough to have this year!
We've had "mild and partly cloudy" today. Tomorrow the major storms are supposed to be coming through here. I dread that. So far, the shingles on the roof are nice and tidy, but rain, hail and wind are the combination that sometimes causes problems The house is very solid and here's a basement, too, but I still have insecurities about storms. Shall hope for the best and be glad when their over.

It is overcast and sprinkling rain. Not too cold but a little chilly.
I have a dental appointment this afternoon for X-rays. I've had some pain recently so need to know what's going on. I hope it does not require root canals!
Mouse, I'm glad for you that you'll have your computer problem solved tomorrow. No email must be very annoying!

Chilly and rainy. I backed out of PT this evening because I didn't want to drive across the bridges in rush hour ... in the rain. It was a good move because by 7 pm I had a scathing headache. Bad enough at home but out there, it would have been hell.
Getting ready to have a 1 benadryl, 2 tylenol cocktail (with a half glass of choco milk) and sleep it off.
Hope all of you are doing better. zzzzzz

It is a nice spring day, today. The present temperature is 60 degrees F with a few wispy clouds in a sunny blue sky. Everything looks and smells fresh from yesterdays rain.
I baked this morning, 2 loaves of apple bread and 2 pineapple upside down cakes. We are keeping one of each and taking one of each to our neighbor who has been ill and is still house bound. We are also picking up his small grocery list and taking care of his marketing a little later.
I have also posted a link about the AMA coming out against the GOP health care bill. No medical people are in favor of this. Hopefully the people who do not understand what is involved will start o learn something. The AARP is against it as well.

I can't unsee it 😲 Hi Chefmste51, Does it really matter? I have passed people without recognizing them because I have been so deep in thought, so I guess I wouldn't have seen what you apparently saw. Did the person decide just to bend as you approached or was she bending before that so you could have had time to avert your eyes as you passed ?

We had 3 bombastic electrical storms toay. The last one was a couple of hours ago and I'm guessing we may have at least one more before morning. Sleep sweet and have a nice Wednesday. Hi Beth, I hate when there is an electric storm. I usually find a place to sit where I am out of range of the windows. As a child in Scotland, had my legs reached the floor when sitting around the fireside , I would have been killed. Lightening came right through the window and struck my pet tortoise at my feet, it wasn't killed, but it was blinded and had blood pouring from it's nose, poor thing.!!!

Most of my headaches come from sinus issues and allergies. You're lucky to be spared.
